Davideo7 : I'll take the $25 on my PayPal account (jerryaberry@aol.com).

Congrats Thebiguglyalien and mrkool078!

Got to say I had a hard time getting into this one. Once figuring out the mechanics, mapping out every snowman location, and finally figuring out that only ammo is actually consumed during making weapons it became the best Home Alone experience I have ever had and a great overall Christmas game to play.

The strategy to get the max points is obviously maxing out the pain meter as quickly as possible so more houses can be accomplished. Noticing which weapons cause the most damage and also incapacitates the Wet Bandits for less time (so you can attack them again sooner) is the ideal strategy. My favorite weapons for this are the sonic wave gun, flashbulb grenade, and anything with coal.

Davideo7 : I'll take the $10 on my PayPal account (jerryaberry@aol.com)

I'm guessing nguyenminhthien's run didn't count because the video must contain the target screenshot for the speedrun.

Congrats rcarter2! Speedrunning a brawler proved to be quite difficult for me. It takes much more strategy than I imagined. I need to train particular areas with save states to get a time under 40 minutes (utilizing the bazooka enemies, memorizing the biker spawn points etc.).

Davideo7 : I'll take the $10 dollars. I'd like for it to be sent to my PayPal account (jerryaberry@aol.com).

Congrats to Darkpower508 and Foodperson for a great show. I didn't know much about the Crash series before this competition. It is a much better, and ultra difficult, platformer than I ever imagined. I'm glad I can get through the game because I will enjoy attempting the speedrun for years to come.

Spidey243 : Actually if you wait in the airport you can watch the cash pickups regenerate. Also, $2000 can be obtained by destroying every airplane and $500 from non-enemy automobiles, both of which regenerate endlessly as well. Basically you can destroy all the enemies but one, use turbo to stay away from that enemy, and simply collect cash endlessly with little risk to your health. Even if pickups do regenerate at random intervals there are so many that will be found by simply moving around the stage over and over. Lastly, I never called it a glitch, just a trick.

Davideo7 : Apparently the cash pickups keep regenerating endlessly. I know it is mentioned in this thread that you cannot exploit an unlimited points trick but I just wanted to make sure no one tries this and unsuspectingly gets disqualified from the competition.

I'd like to see Pac-Booster allowed. Especially in a game that will unlikely be maxed out (in this version the score actually goes into the millions!). That extra speed can get you into a lot of trouble later in the game making for some crazy gameplay.

I like the game because it is pretty darn unique and brutally difficult, also I do skateboard in real life. Anyway I was wondering if the first warp will be allowed because it gives 3 extra lives I think.

I also vote for Sonic 2. Great games on the list but this just seems more fair for a varied group of gamers. I'm in the process of moving so I'm staying in a hotel until this weekend. Hopefully I can get my internet going quickly when I move into my new apartment but for now this internet is not going to suffice for netplay.

Congrats rcarter2! I don't know why but I never saw your video, my research skills are getting rusty. I wish I did check it out because that route for the last level is pretty interesting. I would have explored that strategy a bit not just for speed but the flame guys were really bothering me with my strategy. Congrats boomer1709 for being the best of the 1:35 club!

Congrats nguyenminhthien86 and rathlucas! I actually never played anything like this before except that mini game in Zelda: Twilight Princess. Pretty awesome I must say and I love the music. I wish I had more time to learn that ridiculous part at the end of the last level. You can almost triple your points just for beating the game.

Congrats sonikku! Your ability at puzzle games is just mind-blowing. This game requires so much ingenuity to construct combos. You taught me much! Also, congrats to Nickrj for placing 3rd and able to finish Kid Icarus this month as well.

Wow I actually placed in a competition outside the highscore and speedruns! Thanks for the votes! Great idea Guy A. Person. Never knew hair was used as a weapon as early as the NES. uusretrohippi that was a good destructible environment you chose for the screw attack video. That may have inspired me to do the Super Metroid videos, I don't remember but thanks just in case. Thebiguglyalien I think everyone fell in love with Scorpion's spear the first time they saw it pierce someone's torso XD. Lastly, Davideo7 I have heard so much about Conker but never about that particular aspect. I'm guessing you purposely made the video kind of long to show the impossibility of housing a bladder that big? Struggling in the urine at the end was also a nice touch.

Congrats rcarter2 on a deathless run... that's just insane! Congrats to Nickrj as well for beating it first and one of only two people that actually beat it. I'm pretty impressed with Kid Icarus in general. I wrote it off as something else entirely different (genre wise). The music is quite good too.

You can hit enemies with it like a whip so I think it should count for at least that action. Perhaps the diving earthquake thing too?

Congrats winners! Awesome to see so many people (including rcarter2) way faster than me at a game I thought I had already mastered a while ago.

Too bad a lot of people complain about the controls in Bonk games. I think developers purposely made the controls very different from other console mascots. Bonk is hard as rock and moves like it. I think it's a great idea and, although a bit challenging at first, a complete blast once you get the hang of it. I'm not even close to mastering the bonus games so a score of nearly 600,000 is likely possible.
