WSJ has been bought out by Rupert Murdoch who is a very wealthy conservative and doesn't want Bernie to become president so he can keep making billions of dollars and control even more of the media. FalcoDude : Corporate welfare is a thing right now and Bernie wants to fix this. He wants to tax the rich and corporations that are not paying enough money and have bought out the government to leave huge loopholes for the wealthy.
Bernie will fix this and use the money gained from these people and corporations actually paying taxes to give free healthcare, free college, and many other things. Taxes are not a bad thing if everyone pays them and the rich and corporations are not paying what they should be and that's one of the reasons why the economy is so bad right now.

Choosing to bring up the Alamo in this situation is frankly intellectually dishonest. Americans are NOT how they were two hundred something years ago. The military has weapons, armor, and very accessories that far outweigh anything some civilian with an AK-47 could do. The average American is obese while the people in the Alamo were in tip top shape since their lives depended on it.

Being able to reuse ammo has nothing to do with any of this and there's no evidence available on the internet stating that ex-military trains family members and that has nothing to do with anything.

It's all a load of horse apples. One thing is that a majority of the government WANTS to keep guns in the hands of the little people since it acts as a pacifier to stop the little people from complaining while their rights and ability to survive as Americans are slowly taken from them.
And then what makes anyone think that Americans could rise up and do anything against a government if something should happen? Most of the people who own guns are a tad crazy middle-aged overweight folks who've never been in a combat situation. Sure they might "practice" a lot, which means shoot at animals or targets or some sort, but none of them would ever be able to hold up against a trained military!

2. They will post some spurious things about hunting, how other things kill people, and how if criminals want guns then criminals will end up with them anyway.

Hunting is not necessary in this country. A person can go down to the local grocery or chain store and get meat any day of the week. Hunting is not beneficial in any way and just gives opportunities for hunters to get killed.

Yes, obesity can lead to death, yes drunk driving can kill people, and yes terrorists can kill people but guns are made to kill. that's the only reason to have one.

Obesity doesn't kill others while guns do. Drunk driving is a combination of two different things, alcohol and cars so it doesn't relate top guns. Alcohol is terribly bad for the body while cars are a necessity is many parts of this country. Fewer terrorists kill Americans than Americans do so this point is moot.

Gun nuts will all ways come up with various false and misleading reasons why banning guns is a bad idea but they're fine with all sorts of other things that are more detrimental to the country.

Obama isn't the best president ever, he failed in a bit of what he said he would do and has fallen into the pockets of the filthy rich and passed things just to make life better for him, BUT he's also not as bad as many in this thread of claimed him to be. It seems to me that the Faux News crowd is dwelling in this section of the site and posts all the lies that "news" network concocts on a daily basis.

2. Obama has done what he thinks is the best for the country, despite what all the conservatives think. The fact is that most people have no idea what's best for the country and refuse to do the study required to even start figuring it out. People all ways claim he's doing whatever he wants, but he's really trying to do what he thinks is best for the country.

3. A large part of the world has single-payer healthcare and this country is one of the few that does not. Obama making Obamacare has given me heathcare for the first time in my life and is the same for many Americans. The entire fine bit was likely introduced by conservatives wanting to place more "poison pills" into the American system.

4. Other countries don't mock America because we can't handle things, they mock America because our government goes out of its way to SABOTAGE and backbite the President and its own constituents. Instead of standing up for the man elected to be president, this country insults and reviles him. Remember when insulting the president used to be considered being a Commie?

5. More crimes are committed by every day people with guns over criminals or terrorists. Guns are killing devices and have no use in the everyday world.

6. Obama is trying to get care for vets but conservatives shot it down.

7. Conservative people in the government have fought Obama every step of the way so it seems like his presidency has been one fiasco after another.
