Nope. I'm a newbie (though I won't be for much longer). The person below me loves cats.

(The dude above never had a wish...) I wish my brother acted like a sibling and not like a third, more responsible parent.

Nope. My favorite item is the boomerang from Spirit Tracks, though the Hookshot is a close second. The next person's favorite item is... let me read your mind.... stop thinking about that.... the Ember seeds from the Oracle games!

This is a thread to discuss the manga books and comics they've made of the series. Do you agree with them? Are they fairly accurate?
Me, my favorite is the two OoT books. They do a good job of describing the game, and it's fairly accurate. There's also a sequel- the Majora's Mask book, in which Link is looking for Navi and runs into some trouble with the moon falling and such. (That can really interrupt the flow of your day...)
So, what's your favorite?
Addict, out.

As far as I can tell, Phantom Hourglass goes before Spirit Tracks, because Niko (when you revisit Aboda) says that Link looks like a friend of his from when he was younger. There is a portrait on the back wall that suggests the Niko in this game is the same Niko as in PH- he's just a lot older. Maybe all the Links are descendants of each other, with some exceptions.
For example: in the first LoZ game, you had to gather the pieces of the Triforce of Wisdom, while Ganon had the Triforce of Power. Then in Adventure of Link, you had 2 Triforces and you had to get the third. LTTP, though... that's a tough one. It appears to be completely separate from the other games, because you fight Ganon, who we all know died in LoZ.
Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons are linked, those two could be in either order, one after the other.
As for OoT and MM... I think that OoT comes first and MM second, because 1: they're for the same game console, and 2: Link starts out young in both of them, but there's no mention of Ganon in the second.
That's my input. Addict, out.

Even though the cartoon kind of sucked a LOT, I think a carefully researched LoZ movie would be nice. They'd probably base it off of either OoT or LTTP, since those are classics. Maybe they would take the Oracle games and use them as sequels...

I've recently been playing Zelda on emulators, but the first game I played was Link to the Past. It's still my favorite and it strikes me, although tied with Oot, to be the classic Zelda game.

I just have 2 questions about this website.

1. How do I make N64 games work? I tried playing Ocarina of Time, and it didn't work.
2. How do you make your avatar? ...Or do I have to get out of Newbie rank?

I haven't played Zelda II, but my brother owned LTTP from the very beginning. I love it, and in my opinion it's the classic Zelda game that you have to play to understand how strange and difficult Zelda is.
If you think about it, the first 3 games are sort of "linked" together. (Sorry for the unintended pun!) In the first game, you're looking for, what, the Triforce of Wisdom? You know Ganon has the Triforce of Power. Then in the second game, you're looking for the Triforce of Courage. We don't know what happens to the Triforce after Link uses it to wish Zelda awake. What if Ganon somehow got hold of all 3 pieces and then employed Agahnim to do his dirty work?
This is all in my mind, but I always thought it would be so fun if that were actually true. My suspicions were confirmed when I went into Ganon's secret room and saw the Triforce spinning there. Either way, LTTP rules.

Hi, call me either Zelda or Addict. Either, especially when put together, is correct
I love Legend of Zelda, in case you couldn't tell. I love anything fantasy, including books and other computer games.
My brother introduced me to Zelda at a very young age, and when I found these kinds of websites, I was ecstatic. I'm hoping to make lots of friends here and trade gaming tips.
I'm currently on the lookout for old Zelda games to play, but this site will help me save money.
I love cats. I love writing. I'm currently writing a short Zelda fan-fiction of Link to the Past. I play Wizard101. If there was a Zelda MMORPG, I'd play it. *Checks Google* Hey, there is one! Sweet!
Anyway, I hope to see you all around the forums. Maybe you'll run into me playing Four Sword. I'll be the one cutting down bushes like there's no tomorrow.
Bye!
