I like raichu the best because he is the strongest, and if you have a pikachu you might as well just evolve it at the right time with a thunderstone to get better stats and good moves. Also I think that pikachu in general is a classic Pokémon, and a very good electric type. And also, he is ash's first! But I would have to say Raichu stat- wise because it is just stronger and better. But overall a very good Pokémon. So I prefer Raichu over all of them. (not so much for pichu, evolving it with happiness is just very annoying, so I would just catch a wild pikachu)

First off, Pichu is the worst of the evolutionary line,
in super smash bros melee he damaged himself whilst attacking.

I would have to say out of the three I would choose Raichu because when it comes to battling I seem to have better luck with him due to his increased stats and even with looks I like him a little more then the others (although I wish it would lose a little bit of its belly like Pikachu did over the years) so Raichu is just my pick.
