"I'm gonna take a guess that this 'certain person' is your sister who's coming isn't she? And if I ever did decide to try heart... I think I'd like it fried better, or at least baked. Or," Nate adds in a whisper, "Jessica could get here a little faster and we wouldn't have to try heart at all."

* "Aburai, actually it would be good if she turned you into spagetti, i'm hungry"


* Septembern fits one of his legs far enough out of the cage to kick a rock backwards into the cage... Once he has put his leg inside the cage and picked up the rock. Septembern walks to Juliet

"I really need to learn to levitate this rock in the next ten minutes, unless Jessica decides to come quickly... can you teach me to levitate this light rock?

((OOC: Oh god this post is probably gonna be huge D: ))

The girl looks at Nate.

"Heh, at least one of you has some brains."

The girl turns back around and walks to stand in the middle of the clearing, back towards the cage and looking at the end of the 'blood trail'.



Maybe half a minute passes before Jessica shows up. She runs into the clearing, stopping a few meters away from the girl and surveys the situation.

"JESSICA! You have no idea how happy I am to see you! I spared you a few bites of deer heart!"

The girl throws the heart towards Jessica, who merely swats it away with the back of her hand.

"Oh but of course Jessica doesn't want to eat a deer heart, Jessica is far too important for such low-grade hearts, Jessica only eats human hearts because she's important like that!"

The girl pranced around as too ridicule Jessica as she said it. But Jessica merely stood there, glaring at her when.

"Kutsuri, I'll give you a chance to give up, just hand over my subordinates without hurting them and I'll let you go."

"Why should I trust the words of a murderer?"

"You shouldn't. But you should trust the words of your sister."

Kutsuri glared at Jessica, blood starting to erratically swirl around in the air around them.

"A trustworthy sister wouldn't slaughter her own family."

"Kutsuri... Last chance, give up. Or I'll have to do something drastic."

"What are you gonna do to stop me!? You're just a little weak healer nowadays, in fact, you can helplessly watch as I kill your friends, starting with the girl!"

Kutsuri swipes out her hand towards the cage, and one of the scythes springs up and does a slashing motion down towards Julie, but it stops at the last second, merely hovering above her.

Kutsuri looks at the scythe in surprise as it stays there motionless.

"move.... Move... MOVE! DO SOMETHING, KILL HER!"

Jessica looks down into the ground, her red hair covering her face as she speaks up again.

"Kutsuri... Do you know what I've done since that night?"

"I don't know, pretended to be a nurse?"

Jessica looks back up, her eyes looking straight at Kutsuri, eyes filled with confidence.

"I taught myself the rituals."



As Kutsuri hears this it's like something snapped inside her, her face grows pale, her eyes widen and she starts backing away from Jessica.

"No... You're lying. It's impossible."

Jessica raises one of her palms towards Kutsuri, and raises it up, lifting Kutsuri into the air at the same time.

"NO! Don't do this Jessica!"

Kutsuri's voice is desperate as she gets hoisted up into the air.

"I'm sorry Kutsuri, but... It's for your own good."

"NO JESSICA, I PROMISE I WON'T HURT ANYONE. DON'T DO IT."

Jessica stops lifting her hand up, and Kutsuri hangs in the air maybe 3 meters above the ground.

Kutsuri's voice is shaking and tears are starting to fall down her cheeks.

"DON'T DO THIS TO ME JESSICA, I NEVER DID ANYTHING WRONG. DON'T DO THIS TO YOUR ONLY SISTER! I BEG OF YOU DON'T KI"

And before she could finish her pleading Jessica clenched her palm into a fist, and Kutsuri abruptly stopped her crying and screaming, her body falling straight down into the ground, and there she lies, not moving at all. The blood cage and scythes also fall apart and wither into the ground, and the blood floating in the air disappears.



Jessica walks over to where Kutsuri lies and sits beside her, holding her hand, and looks down at her sister with some tears slowly running down her cheek.


"Please... Survive."



((IS KUTSURI DEAD OR NOT!? WHO KNOWS! And I can't bother typing more so it will be revealed in the next post.

Nate sprints over to Jessica. "What... you mean... what did you... rituals?" he gasps. Then, finally finding his voice, he asks "What the heck did you do?! And what do you mean by 'rituals'? Wait... are you perhaps a blood bender too? And she said... your family... no..." Nate takes a few steps back. He contemplates grabbing his weapons, but realizes it would be futile. Desperately hoping she can be trusted, Nate continues to back away from Jessica, back towards the group. "This... this can't be happening."

Nicki walks towards Nate and puts his hand on his shoulder* "Hey, just have confidence. Who knows what will happen. Just be calm."

((Damn DM, amazing writing))

*stands there, digesting what just happened*

"I... Jessica, I'm sorry that you had to do that to your sister. I know it must've been tough. But just think about it... you saved not only our lives, but the lives of many other potential victims."

*pats Jessica on the back*

"I know it may feel as though you betrayed your sister, but you did the right thing. I'm proud of you"

*puts his head near Katsuri's chest, where her heart is, seeing whether or not she's dead*

"Thanks, Nicki. It's just..." Nate drops his voice to the point where Nicki could barely even hear him, "If she can do that, and if what Kutsuri said is true... well, I don't know what to think. I want to trust Jessica, but... oh, screw this. I can't decide, Jessica didn't even deny the claims, she in fact acknowledged them as true, and I don't want to trust Miss Heart-eater over there, but... I don't know what to think."

"Oh my god!"

* Septembern did not even get half of what Jessica was saying about rituals, but was astonished of what she did...

* Septembern leans close to see whether Aburai can hear the heart beating...

"Hey guys, I think we're forgetting something." Nate then rushes over to Julie. "You OK? She was seriously targeting you, did she do anything to you from the inside or something? I can't believe this is happening... talk about a rough first day!"

*Nicki then looks at the sky and back down and stares at the aftermath of the problem* "Man, if this is going to be this hard, imagine our follwing missions?" *Nicki then walks over to Julie at studies her for any injuries*

* Septembern walks to Julie after Nate turned away...

"Are you okay?"
"I wanted to ask you incase I don't get the chance later... I was wondering whether you would like to go to dinner with me tomorrow night... I was unsure whether we will survive our next ideal... so i'll tell you this now... I love you, not only your personality, but everything about you..."

* Septembern looks down, a bit embarrassed...

*Nicki whistles in a high pitch manner* "'bout time, aye? Either way, I won't get in your business, so I'll be on my way." Nicki began feeling cold as in something were to give him some sort of sheer. "Ugh, why is this troubling me so much. I just have to know who that was." *Nicki goes through the opposite side to have a moment of silence for himself*

(OCC: I love how all the charcters have inner conflicts, it just builds suspense! !)

"Nate this isn't the best time for questions!
Just give her some space!"

"And what do you mean who to trust? If Either Jessica or her sister wanted us dead we would probably all be dead already!!"

((Didn't you read, Roy? I said only Nicki could hear me, and he could barely hear it at that ))
"For starters, Kutsuri did want us dead, and she almost succeeded, at least with Julie. And Roy, I think we're entitled to a few answers. And I know which of the two I would trust more, it's just... well, if what Kutsuri said is true, Jessica has a dark side, and I for one don't want to see it."

I said, "Yeah, I'm fine Nate." while looking at Jessica and Kutsuri.
"I feel like I wanna hug them both... but I know it wouldn't do anything."

After Nate, Sept. talked to me and, "Wha?!" I think I heard it wrong.

Jessica just sits there holding Kutsuri's hand, not answering any of your questions, she does stop Aburai from trying to listen to Kutsuri's heartbeat by putting her hand in the way, but aside from that nothing.

Then, after maybe 3 minutes or so, Kutsuri breathes again, she doesn't seem to regain consciousness, but she is breathing. And Jessica draws a sigh of relief.


"I'm sure you all have many questions, but I don't have the time to answer them now. Talk to me tomorrow if you're still interested."

She then picks up Kutsuri, and carries her like knight carries her princesses, and walks out of the clearing, back towards the city.



Then you all got a message from Kana.

"Ok, that was not what we wanted to happen, could you all come back to the offices? I want to speak to you."

"This doesn't sound good..." Nate comments. "Jessica's got her under control, I guess, at least she's breathing. Let's go." Nate then turns and begins to follow the blood trail back out of the forest.

* Septembern starts running out of the forest after Nate...

*Turns to Julie, Aburai and Nate. Sighs and says.
"We better get going to."
*starts walking back the way we came

*Nicki turns around follows Nate* "Hmph, I'm intrigued by this sudden call"
