I'm going to be boring and say that going by car is my go-to since I have a license, but when I was in high school, I walked everywhere when I wanted to go somewhere. I even sometimes walked from my school to home, which was like 3 or 4 miles from each other, which I didn't mind at all.

pacman1755 : I have nothing against you being boring, I feel like I am a little often XD Walking 3 or 4 miles is certainly good for you, especially when you enjoy it. I would only mind doing that if it's bitterly cold winter weather.

I think I'll enjoy being in a car more after getting my license, but for now I'm not doing that much driving. I have drivers ed next week so that should help me drive way more.

By the way good luck on your driving test. If you pass I can see it for me you just driving and driving around and get lost.

Also motorcycle looks like a great way of getting around. Would love to get license to drive it, but must persuade my girlfriend more. I got a maybe so on good road to get yes.

If I have to go across the country, then I prefer to fly, assuming it's for vacation. 
But, if I am just moving around the state or town, then my car, definitely. I mean, I'm paying about $900 a month for it between the actual payment  and insurance for it, so you better bet your last buck I'm using my car.

Pacman+Mariofan : I used to love driving, especially on long trips. Now, trips longer than 20 minutes or so suck. Now, if I have somebody riding with me to talk to, then it is not so bad. But still, me and a friend did a 2 and a half hour drive 2 weeks ago. It was alright, but the ride back sucked because I had just had a wisdom tooth puled ( the whole point of our trip ), so I could not talk the entire way back, so it was extremely boring.

thing1 : Once you have driven really long trips, driving can get old quickly after that. I felt bad for my dad, who drove us around there and back on our vacation. The day after we returned, he had to drive over half an hour to his work.

I don't think I'll ever enjoy long drives unless I have great music to listen to or several people to talk to in the car.

Honestly my favourite mode of transport is by car... Because as an epileptic I do not really trust myself with anything that I have direct control over... like for example a scooter or bike lol.... Also by car I mean stuff like taxi's and lifts from friends.... It's usually faster and more reliable than a bus and I do not have to deal with all the people that use the bus as well. 

Especially in the area I live in where the bus company likes to apparently change its bus routes and times every month or so... it is literally a nightmare for anyone that uses the bus to commute to work sometimes. And that's ignoring the drunks and the loud music blasting from ignorant minded teenagers :d

I do not like small boats, but larger boats are fun for me. I really like the open ocean and all of the sea life, and big boats don't rock as much and I feel like they have a smaller chance of sinking (but look at the titanic who knows). However that wouldn't be my main mode of travel.

I prefer to drive my car places. It's very convenient.
I've been thinking of getting a motorcycle as well, more for pleasure than for utility, but transportation regardless. I've always thought that it may be something fun to do, because I like driving as it is, and from what I understand riding a motorcycle only helps that kind of feeling. However, that's quite a bit away. I need time, money, and a lot more upper body strength. But hey, maybe someday.

I have to take a boat ride while getting to the beach every single year, so I've gotten to experience how me at different ages handles boats differently, and it's been interesting how much I enjoy moderately short boat rides for.

And I'm 6'3", mostly my legs are the tall part, and my parents have moderately small cars, so the drive back from the beach (all 9 hours of it) weren't fun.

Recently I've ridden in every form of transportation that exists, I think: boats, trams, tekdecks, planes, buses, metros, subways (is there a difference?), trains, and cars.

I think my favorite so far has been the buses. The seats are generally nice and a person only fell asleep on me like twice. Boats are pretty rad. I like boats. Boats are nice.
