Today's the day, the 2017 MLB season kicks off with 3 games throughout the day and baseball fans couldn't be more excited, so here's the place to talk about what's going on in the baseball world.

We already know this is going to be a fun season with all the rookies and some of the big moves that took place.

Baseball is my favorite sport. So far I have noticed some things among some teams.

The Rockies could be good so far their bullpen has been okay. However the Rockies have two starting members of their lineup on the injured list so that will be interesting to see. The good news is they are expected back some time this month.

The Reds are going to struggle. The top two pitchers Bailey and Desclafani are on the injured list. Bailey is expected back in June. DeSclafani has a sprain in his elbow. To me its just a matter of time before it tears and he has to have elbow surgery. The Reds have a lot of young players. I like the Reds but I seem them flirting with 100 loses again

The Cardinals- will be fine and they will contend. But already they have one issue that needs to be corrected hitting with runners in scoring position. Already the Cardinals left too many base runners on base.

The Orioles Are going to miss their ace pitcher Tillman. Orioles starting pitching has little margin for error. Their bullpen and offense is good and that will keep them in games.

So far there have been many-many surprises this season. There have been so many crazy streaks by both pitchers and hitters.

Cody Bellinger has 12 home runs and 31 RBI's in only 37 games. That's a full season pace for 50 and 135.
Aaron Judge is On pace for close to 60 home runs.
Charlie Blackmon is the MLB leader for Hits, Triples (By double over 2nd place) and RBI's. On pace for 210 Hits, 120 Runs, 22 triples, 35 home runs, and 130 RBI, all career bests.
At the end of April, Billy Hamilton was on pace to steal 67 bases. (Which is amazing) At the end of May that pace spiked to nearly 90.

Chris Sale has 110 K's after only 11 starts.
Dallas Keuchel has more wins than any other pitcher AND hasn't lost a single game.
Only 4 pitchers have ever recorded at least 55 Saves in a season. Greg Holland is on pace for that..... pitching in Coors Field.

It's the allstar break, and I'm shocked.

The cubs are struggling. The defending world champs are under .500, and aren't showing too many signs of making their way back to the top. I don't think they'll finish the year under .500, but I could see them losing the division to a Milwaukee team that is impressive.

Aaron judge is a beast. At first I thought what he was doing was just homeruns, but he's a good fielder and % hitter and gets on base well. He is a huge rookie sensation, that I believe will succeed.

The Indians have struggled. My team is in the lead for their division, but they aren't what they were last year. They're supposed to be better. However, a big win streak got them rolling last year, so maybe the same is yet to come.

Astros, not surprised. I saw this coming years ago when they got good drafts. They're incredible, they hit, they pitch, they do it all. I'm surprised they're won so many games by such a huge margin however.

The dodgers, Rockies, and diamondbacks are all for real. Dodgers are always good, Rockies big surprise, diamondback, giant surprise. I did not see them to be this good at this point after seeing them last year.

The giants are a mess. I'm not even sure why everything is going wrong for them, but it is, and it's kind of hard to watch such a good team tear apart like this.

The phillies... they're the Phillis. And the padres will always be horrible.

Barathemos : With the Cubs trading for Quintana, I think that's going to be a hugh boost for them. For some reason, their pitching was just NOWHERE near what it should have been, and that goes for everybody. Lester and Arrieta haven't been the same as last year consistently, and Hendricks/Lackey have made a complete 180.
