Just out of curiosity.... are we permitted to supplement a video with screenshots, or do we have to pick between the two? When I'm finished with this, there's going to be so much to look at, I'm not sure we can capture it all in five minutes without overlooking the details.

Well, I'm dumb... Just got it pointed out to me that it says build anything "video game related" in the first post. Thought it was just a build anything competition from the title of the thread.
Now I gotta figure out something new to build... Doesn't help that I keep forgetting about this competition...

Well, here's my attempt at making something. I present...The NES Classic edition!

Well people, this is the project I've been working on for the last few months. It's yet unfinished and unfortunately won't be finished before the deadline, but it's very well developed. There are several things that I'm a little dissatisfied with, but I'll let you all be the judge of whether or not this is a great build.

I present to you The Kokiri Forest, Lost Woods and the beginnings of the Sacred Forest Meadow, all in one build, village building interior included:





I couldn't find the right color for the walls, so I had to settle on something dark, such as Soul Sand, Saria's House and the House of Twins are too close to each other, the roots coming from the shop look funny, Mido's house has a funky front door, the Deku Tree's roots are too small as well as the canopy, etc....

I built almost all of it, but I had some help from yoshirulez! in the form of a little building, a little tearing down, but mostly in supplying screenshots of the game for me.

Fyredove took the video for me since I had no way to do so, and did a great job of it, I might add.

This was just Yosh and I's build, but if we win, Yosh and I have agreed that we should take three way ownership of the world with Fyredove.

I very much encourage you to get on the server and check it out in person if you own and can run Minecraft. To find it, simply follow the east road from spawn and you'll find it on the south side of the big bridge.

Currently, world edit isn't around and creative world is sealed off. Looks like unless there is a delay of submission deadline due to creative worlds sealing off. I'm doomed to not being able to submit something.
