Vote: No Kill

I'm going to vote no-kill and here's why.

It seems like the Mafia and Godfather are more just randomly killing people than actually to figure out who's what role. And like yoshi said, if we get a few no-kill votes, we can then think about if we need to lynch someone or not. But from the way how things look, there's insufficient evidence on who's the mafia and who isn't

This is the 6th post, we got 4 more to go. Make them count.

The thing is godfather knows who each mafia member is so can't use the excuse of the godfather willy nilly killing random people if they are mafia.

I have some potential suspicions at the moment but more of a hunch so I can't really tell since it would just backlash on me.

pokemon x : Not really. I was godfather last game and I only knew who the regular mafia members were, nobody else. The godfather doesn't know who the other mafia members (those with a special role) are for certain unless they use a night to find out one of them which for reasons I stated, doesn't seem like the case this time.

Here is how I see things:

1 - I see a VERY HIGH chance of having a forger, I mean, only mafia deaths pretty much? Seems too good to be true. And also I believe on the existence of an assassin.

2 - HEAVY FoS on Frodlex and here's why:

After Snowdeath voted herself, Frodlex quickly jumped to vote too, even after she mentioned she was Bystander, and as far as I have played mafia, I know the thing mafias mostly love, is having a LOW amount of players, ALSO he wanted confirmation on how the mafia role worked, doesn't that sound like he wants to CLEARLY understand how that role works?

I feel like I should REALLY vote him, but I don't have any solid proof here.

That's 5 votes for no-kill and this is the 10th post. Meaning that it is officially no-kill.

Now to use this to do some discussion.

Seishiro Leonhart : that might seem likely but I'm going to defend him on account of the fact that a double kill on that day would help his fellow mafia members if they supposedly "love having a low amount of players". Now naturally you'd probably assume something like "But he's trying to preserve himself so he can kill us!" but bear in mind that self-preservation can't be considered suspicious as EVERYONE should be preserving themselves, town and mafia both. It was down to the wire and someone had to survive. The vote was going to wind up killing them both, so he voted Snowdeath because he needed to stay alive, because he's an asset to his or her team.

There's no way to tell if he's mafia or town from this information. And even though you suspect him, we can't just go lynching him on the faintest doubt that he's on our side. We need to keep a high amount of players, because that's what the mafia DONT want.

yoshirulez! : Sure, you do make some points, but there is one detail you probably did not think about.

Why would a Bystander vote themselves? If it was me on my first games that would be understandable, but even I didn't suddenly change to kill myself for no reason, but Snowdeath? I don't even know her all that well, but I do know she quite knows how to play, even if she was NOT a bystander, the most possible idea would be: She is a fool, which pretty much would give the idea of "Why would I kill her?".

And also, I do hope you realize that if Frodlex is INDEED guilty, you will be DIRECTLY tied with being a mafia member.


On a side note, I would also like to add to my point of view that, due to the large amount of players on the game, I see one more possibility about at least 2 people being killed each night, and most being mafia.

So, with the quickest day round in history, we reach a "no-kill" verdict.

In the interest of self-preservation, the town elected to let the Mafia continue killing itself. Joke is on them if there's a forger. Or another mystery role.

Point is, nobody is dying today, which means that the Mafia has license to shoot again.

Wanted to interject with a quick comment here

First of all you yourself said some of the points he made were valid so by your own standard you admitted a case could be made for Frodlex not being mafia. In other words one doesn't need to be mafia to defend him even in the event that he's wrong using your own logic. Secondly we've seen mafia members vote for eachother in other mafia games. While at the expense of the mafia member should they get lynched, it can serve as a pretty good tactic to keep the other mafia members under the radar. Because no one expects a mafia member to vote for another mafia member usually.

It's worth saying that as a bystander, Snow shouldn't have given up her role so quickly. Not that anyone can believe her one way or another, except it makes her LOSE that suspicion. Thing is mafia can use that suspicion for their own protection. But so far they've been killing random people like Geeo. I'm actually really lost on how the operate. If they even have a game plan in the first place.

Say what you will, I've planned to look at least somewhat suspicious the whole game. There are reasons, decent ones at that. However as I've said before, everyone is suspicious, I'm just being in the open compared to those slinking in the shadows.

Sure, I haven't played mafia here for quite a long time (for obvious reasons), but still take into consideration on the fact that yoshirulez! also jumped in to vote against Snowdeath, and as far as I have read, the main idea was to avoid UNNECESSARY KILLS, and the "haste" on his part to defend you.

Unless he is a Sheriff and knows what you are (which is still not 100% certain due to possibility of Godfather), I don't see why he would jump to defend him.

And as I have clearly stated, I want to point fingers at him, but this is all speculation as I have no solid proof.

Well I do want to have people lynched. Town won't win without it. Some of us, such as Snow are going to die unnecessarily. No doubt there.

I want to start FoSing people who aren't talking though. Like... All they have to do is not talk and kill us in the night. That's really what'll happen if we don't call them out properly.

Well, this is the least violent game ever, I think, the town and Mafia both hate shooting at people in the mornings.

Well, there's a right shock. Both mrfe and Zlinqx were found dead. mrfe was just a bystander, but Zlinqx was the ever deadly Assassinator 9000 (Assassin). Don't ask how he teleported from mrfe's room back to his own, just to be shot by an unknown assailant. That's not important!

Well, hopefully this day round gives me something to work with. The night ended as suddenly as it began, and the town found itself facing an interesting question.

Only reason I am voting for myself is because I am moving due to unseem circumstances that I didn't find out till after last night round. I won't have stable internet so instead of people being suspicious of me later for not responding I can eliminate myself now.

Edited so vote wouldn't be wasted. But am dropping out so if people want to eliminate me since I don't think leggy will remove from full thing so they can either keep me alive or whatever if they want.

pokemon x : Are you not able to just drop out of the game? No point wasting a vote on that.

First things first. I would really like to call attention to those who have barely posted or haven't posted at all. They may not have had to post which I find unlikely at this stage. But I don't want any mafia staying quiet the whole game and continue killing.

Id also like to say that a forger managing to nail all those deaths is just as unlikely as nailing all those mafia if not less.

I agree with Frod, on the 1-3 mafia/kill roles left. So we might have a chance in living this out...I mean well dying this out? Just a thought but Surg mentions leggy in about all her posts, so I'm thinking there's a slight possibility that she might be a Leggyist or something (Just a thought). I'm also a tad suspicious of Zero and Mors, but just a strange hunch.
