Ston Wall : This is going to be my last post on the matter because I know neither of us is going to convince the other. It's also kind of hard to have a discussion with someone you're not sure if he's serious or not.

To address what you said though, me not believing in god isn't because "I don't love myself". I'm perfectly happy with who I am as a person and the friends I have. To say that is the reason I don't believe in god is quite frankly a bit disrespectful and very presumptuous even if you did not intend for it to come off that way. The reason I don't believe in god is because I find god not existing to be more logical than him existing. I think the concept of god is manmade.

If you're serious in wanting to convince someone that god does exist, then use logic and science to explain why that is the most probable explanation. Don't say things like "well if you don't believe in him this is going to happen". That isn't going to convince anyone because that's not going to make that person believe in god. People are atheists not because they "reject god" it's because they really find god not existing the most logical. What you're doing is comparable in logic to saying "if you don't believe in Santa he won't bring you any presents" (comparing the logic behind it not santa and god). Not going to work is it?
