As you said in your last post, I feel as though this will be a similar case to the Dreamcast. I feel as though this is too little too late for Nintendo. PS4 and XB1 already have such a base in the market right now, even if Nintendo somehow manages to catch up or pass them a little in terms of system power, the damage is already done. And like you said, if it out powers the other systems, it will likely be more pricey as well. So many people have already shelled out hundreds (if not thousands including games) on other platforms, many will be reluctant to do so again. And considering how much of a flop the Wii U was, many will also be reserved about giving Nintendo the benefit of the doubt. That being said, taking risks and innovating is what has made them the giant they are, and this could be another saving grace for the company. I just don't believe it will help them as much as they hope it will.
