Vanelan : There's a lot of stuff that staff don't know actually, when I went to get my autograph, there were some lines that were for TV shoe casts, and when I asked how much those would cost, they say the price changed based on the show, but they don't know what the price is for any of them.

Vanelan : We need to start a group petition to get us all to a comic con with a Wiggler costume!

There's a few neat things that are coming out. I hope that the Korra comics are better than the show was. Honestly, that was a terrible follow up to TLA. Nice jobs on the signatures too. That Futurama one alone would get you a lot of money if you decided to sell it. lol

A user of this : I was going to get it certified by PSA, the worlds biggest certification company, since they had a special, but it was still expensive and I think I may keep the auto forever since its personalized just for me.




The ring I got was $10, I would have bought 2 for $15 but decided against it.

zanderlex :  I would have loved to get that Legend of Korra comic, I love that show ! Sounds like you got tons of cool stuff, I use to love getting free T-shirts to wear as Pj's. Did you play any games in that giant video game section ? I have no idea why Invader Zim stuff are so expensive the design's of the stuff they were selling must have been of high quality. It sucks how you had to miss some of the panels that you wanted to go to but the Rotten Tomatoes panel sounded really fun to be at. Hopefully you'll be able to go to some more panels during day 2 of Comic Con.

cnw64 : Midtown Comics is selling most of the Invader Zim comics for like $3.50 at their highest quality. They sell the exclusive one as well for only about $8, so its a shame that it was so expensive here.

DAY 2 UPDATE 1


Lots of bad things happened today but the day was 10 times better than yesterday. We got here too late and couldn't get bands for ANY main panels, not even the one at 7PM, so we walked around and did stuff and it was awesome. We still have like 6 hours left but we already got so much stuff. We got a ton of posters, regular and signed, and so many more comics than yesterday. There was one place giving out like 5 free comics, and another giving out like 3 more.

It wasn't just the comics we got, there were a ton of publishing places giving away free full novels and signing them. I got a bunch of comic samplers, book samplers, signed stuff and a ton of books. I got a cool book called the lighthouse signed for free, a full star wars book, and every hours the publishers give out a different signed book for free!!!

We're going to go to the RocketJump panel later and then possibly the Regular Show panel and later on we will be at meetuos for Supernatural.


At the start of the day I was at a singing for Regular Show and got a sweet movie poster signed by the creators and some actors. I'll also be at a signing for the show Bordertown later today.

The 2nd half of the day was just so awesome, even more awesome than the 1st half. We made it in time for the RocketJump panel and that was amazing. We saw a trailer for their new show, we saw the premiere of one of their upcoming videos, and there was a ton of fun jokes and random talking. I also got two shirts from them.
After that I want alone to the Regular Show panel and that was sweet. It wad a few blocks away in a place that represents a Broadway show and I chose to sit up in the balcony to get a better view. They did a lot of talking about who does what on the show and they talked about the movie. We saw a special clip from a future episode, we saw a few minutes of the movie and we saw a few clips from a new show that they are working on.

After that, the day was pretty much done so we walked around the floor more. Since I was at panels I couldn't go to any of the other free book signings, however, once the floor started closing, those booths gave out what was left of the books for free, so I got like 2 more books. We also went to chevorlet and signed up to get a free shirt but my friend got lost so I gave him mine and I will try to get another one tomorrow. We also went and got a few signed prints, all for free before we left.

DAY THREE PLANS

BIG UPDATE

Originally I was disappointed because I was told I had to buy the books to get signed at the event, and I asked again today but was told something slightly different which involved me lying a bit. When I asked, they said we can buy the book tomorrow and get a wristband or today and get the wrist and tomorrow. I walked away, but then started thinking to myself, how would they know that the book came from them if I got if today and they give the wristbands tomorrow? It's not like they were giving receipts or anything, so I went back and told them I bought the book yesterday.

In the end, the story is as long as I bring the book tomorrow morning I can get a wristband and get it signed. I also plan on going to the panel for the show that the book/signing is for which is Gravity Falls. I also plan on going to the autograph session for Goosebumps because it's RL stone and Jack Black we're talking about. I was going to go to the Goosebumps panel, but for that I need to go online for a wristband when the con opens, but I want the wrist and for the book signing more, and if I go to one I probably wont be able to go to the other which would probably be sold out by the time I finish with the other.

I also plan on getting more of the free book signings, plan on getting at least 2 or 3, but I doubt I will get anything more like posters or comics, I've had my fair share of free stuff, literally more than 2 dozen drew comics, books, and previews are in my bag right now.

Comic con was now a complete waste. The one panel I bought tickets for in the first place closed its line 90 minutes before it started so I can't get in. Should have never got my ticket for the Goosebumps panel, a complete waste. I also was too late for tickets to the Goosebumps singing.

I don't even know if I can go to the Goosebumps panel because ill be at a signing session for the panel I missed that is like 30 minutes after goosbumps panel. Getting the auto by the shows creator is great, but the panel was so important.

That really stinks that you weren't able to cash in on your tickets. It's crazy that they just closed its like 90 minutes before it even started.

It's cool that you got to see the RocketJump panel showcasing their new show with a sneak peak at their new videos. I like how you outsmarted them with the book, it only makes sense. Like what difference does it make where the book was purchased? Sounds like a first class case of nickle and diming if you ask me.

FINAL DAY UPDATE 2

Like I said in mg last update, I couldn't go to the gravity falls panel but I still had a lot of gravity falls fun. I ended up going around and getting some free stuff, I decided to go down and see what panels I could go in until the Goosebumps panel starts. I ended up seeing a gravity falls guy that I recognize from YouTube and he was talking to a group of teens. I stood and watched, then I walked away, but then I came back and asked one of the teens if they went tot he panel. They said no and I asked him how much he likes the show and he points out that the kid next to him is actually vailskibum94, the biggest gravity falls youtuber. I ended up hanging out with him for like an hour which led to me missing the Goosebumps panel but it was fun, and I even got to see his silver YouTube plaque which he was carrying around.

Then I went on the line for the gravity falls singing which was where I put on my handmade shirt and I was so excited. I got the book signed and the person behind me on the line took a picture of me with the creator /actor Alex Hirsch, and he even said he liked mg shirt. I also got a ton of Gravity falls posters and cards and stuff.

Then I found my friend again and we got even more free books and stuff and then we left and spent the next 6 hours hanging out. I used a Midtown Comics coupon I got there and went to the real store somewhere else and bought all 3 issues of the Invader Zim comics.

Still, its a shame I couldn't go to the gravity falls panel, the Goosebumps panel, or the Goosebumps signing. When I was at chipotle later, I saw a line forming outside by the theater which was for people who went to the Goosebumps panel because they were going to see the premiere of the movie.

Tomorrow will be an overall haul where I list in total everything I got, who I met, and all the panels I went to and pictures.

That's epic: specifically the part where you got a picture with Alex Hirsch. Hopefully when you include the pictures tomorrow, you can include all the posters and signed stuff you got! I've seen the silver youtube plaque, it's really neat! You should definitely look up the gold one, it's amazing - though I haven't seen one in person yet.

I think the only bummer out of the whole thing is you never got to go to the Goosebumps signing. That would have been really cool :/

Skilledtree : I don't even know how they gave away the wristbands for that signing, I went to that line right after I got the wristband for the Goosebumps panel which was right at the start and they say they were already sold out. However, they said they were already sold out since like 8 AM, which is impossible because they didn't even open until 10, so I have no idea who they sold them to.

The Final Update:
I was going to wait until I was on my laptop so I could upload pics, but I wont be on my laptop until tomorrow so ill just put links to the pictures that I uploaded on Twitter. The twitter post also shows people that I have met or seen, all of them.

Wow, you met the main cast member of Futurama!? That's amazing! Hearing that makes me want to go to Comic Con someday. Unfortunately, that probably won't happen for me. Still, I'm glad that you had a good time.
