Hello everyone,

This is a guide of the Inazuma Eleven 3 Team Ogre Attacks game. In this guide you’ll find information about every team you need to beat in the story mode. Also the players who are mentioned in the guide are players you’ll get as a freebie in the story mode. They all (except one) are strong players so I recommend to use them in the story mode. I hope you enjoy reading this guide and find it useful.

Before we start with the actual guide, I will explain some basic stuff first. It might be hard to understand my guide if you don’t know the basics.

What is Inazuma Eleven?

Inazuma Eleven is football (soccer) RPG game for the DS and the 3DS. There is also an Inazuma Eleven Anime. The games are based on the Anime storyline. First the Raimon team won the national tournament. Then the planet (Japan) was invaded by fake Aliens. Now they can take on the whole world!

How do you play this game (matches)?

Easy! The most part of the game can be played with the stylus. The game is kind of a click and drag game. You can touch a player and move the player to let the player run to a certain spot. If you want to shoot, press on the S icon or press the opponent’s goal. In command duels can you decide what you want to do with your player: tackle the opponent or using a charge etc. You can also decide what the goalkeeper does.

The stats of the player? What do they mean?

FP – Fitness Points. If low, the player becomes sweaty and misses a lot of strength and soccer balls. Keep an eye on this stat during the match. You can do this if you press the hand in the left corner during the game. You can also look at it on the top screen if your player has the ball in a match.
TP – Technique Points. With these points you can use special moves. Always better to have a lot of TP.
Kick – The strength of your shoots. Also the pass length.
Body – If high, the chance to get past someone increases. Goalkeepers get a boost if this stat is high too.
Control – The ability to receive the ball well after a pass. This is also good for the shot accuracy.
Guard – If high, the chance to block the ball as a defender increases. This stat is also really useful for goalkeepers.
Speed – The running speed of a player, how fast they can move on the pitch.
Stamina –If high, less FP will be used when you use a special move or a normal command. Always useful if you don’t want a sweaty player.
Guts – Gives a small bonus to everything. Also handy in animation duels to get the ball.

For example, this is how it looks like in the actual game: (ignore that of the bottom).

What are special moves?

Special moves are ‘’super techniques’’ used by a player. Each player has different default special moves. Special moves always costs TP and every special move has an element. For each position there are different special moves, for example there are shoot special moves which you use when you are in front of the opponent’s goal.

Skills also exist. The skills don’t cost any TP. Skills have a certain effect on the player, team or special moves. Some special moves may also have a secondary effect. There are shoot special moves who can stop other shoot special moves when they are in a certain marked area (Shoot Block). Some block special moves can block the ball just like a goalkeeper can do (Shoot Block). Some shoot special moves can be used on your own side (Long Shoot). And last there are shoot special moves who can be combined with other shoot special moves to make it more powerful (Shoot Chain).

Don't forget about the tactics! Tactics are actually special moves used by the whole team. Their purpose is stealing the ball or to keep the ball using more than just one team member.

The elements of the player? What do they mean?

Elements in general are identical to Pokémon types and moves. The elements are really important in this game both for the player and the special move. For example your player has an air element and uses an air special move, the player receives a STAB boost. The elements also have an advantage and weakness against another element. Fire beats Wood, Wood beats Air, Air beats Earth, Earth beats Fire.

These players appear in this guide and are the players you get in the storymode, their strengths and weakness are listed here:

Mark Evans – The captain of the team. A great goalkeeper with much Guard and Guts but he doesn’t learn great moves at the start of the game.
Nathan Swift – He is listed as a defender but works better as a midfielder. He learns some great shoot and dribble moves and is extremely fast.
Jack Wallside – A good defender. He learns some awesome moves but his stats aren’t really that special. His FP and TP is a little low too.
Tod Ironside – He is useless, don’t use him. Poor movepool and stats.
Kevin Dragonfly – A great striker with much Kick. Sadly he doesn’t learn any other move than shoots.
Axel Blaze – The main striker you should use. Great Kick but he has the same problem as Kevin.
Jude Sharp – A great midfielder. He learns some great moves and has an amazing Body and Control stat. A block move would’ve done well for him.
David Samford – A good striker and a great support character on the field, thanks to his skill. Sadly he trains a little difficult and learns his final move a little late.
Jordan Greenway – A midfielder with speed. He learns good moves but isn’t that special.
Shawn Froste – He can play anywhere, he has moves for anything (except goalkeeper) and his stats are great especially his speed stat.
Scott Banyan – A decent defender. Learns some TP consuming moves but his TP is low just like Jack.
Caleb Stonewall – A midfielder with a great body stat. Sadly most of his moves foul a lot.
Darren LaChance – The second goalie but I find this goalie much better. He learns amazing moves in the beginning and has for all of these moves a STAB bonus. His Guard stat is lower than Mark though.
Hurley Kane – A defender who can shoot also. Good movepool overall.
Thor Stoutberg – A midfielder but more suited for a defender. He learns strong block moves and has a great body stat.
Xavier Foster – A striker who also does great as a midfielder because of his block move. Difficult to train but the training will be worth it.
Austin Hobbes – Another striker who has powerful moves. Sadly none of them give him the STAB boost.
Archer Hawkins – A defender who is useless in the beginning but he becomes a lot better later in the game.

The main guide is build like this:

Team name:
Recommended players to use:
Recommended shoot special moves to use:
Recommended dribble special moves to use:
Recommended block special moves to use:
Recommended catch special moves to use:
Watch out for:
How to win:
Events:

NOTE – Save your game before every important match! If you lose then you get a game over screen and you are back where you last saved!

Team name: Inazuma National A (if you picked Jude’s team).
Recommended players to use: you are forced to use the players you got.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Fireball Storm (Axel), Dark Tornado (Shadow), Astro Break (Jordan).
Recommended dribble special moves to use: all are fine.
Recommended block special moves to use: all are fine.
Recommended catch special moves to use: Mugen the Hand (LaChance).
Watch out for: nobody.
How to win: this match is really easy to win. Just spam your moves and you’ll be fine. If Mark’s TP is low then strike with all shoot special moves you have to get as many goals as possible. Do not try to score with Hobbes, he doesn’t want to shoot.
Events: Kick off time and your team advances but is stopped by Hawkins’ mysterious move. Second half starts and Froste gets a free Legendary Wolf. LaChance gets a free Mugen the Hand but no goal.

Team name: Inazuma National B (if you picked Mark’s team).
Recommended players to use: you are forced to use the players you got.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Meteor Blade (Xavier), Triangle Z (Marvin).
Recommended dribble special moves to use: all are fine.
Recommended block special moves to use: all are fine.
Recommended catch special moves to use: Fist of Justice (Mark).
Watch out for: nobody.
How to win: this match is really easy to win. Just spam your moves and you’ll be fine. If LaChance’s TP is low then strike with all shoot special moves you have to get as many goals as possible. Mark’s team has many strikers so that will work out easily.
Events: Kick off time and Froste gets a free Legendary Wolf. LaChance gets a free Mugen the Hand but no goal. Second half kick off the other team advances but is stopped by Hawkins’ mysterious move.

Team name: The All-Girls Allstars.
Recommended players to use: anyone is fine.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: everything works.
Recommended dribble special moves to use: everything works.
Recommended block special moves to use: everything works.
Recommended catch special moves to use: everything works.
Watch out for: nobody.
How to win: Do I really need to explain? They are so easy to beat. Every move of yours works fine against them. They are a lot easier than your first match.
Events: none.

Team name: Big Waves.
Recommended players to use: LaChance in the goal, Kane.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Any wood element move works fine.
Recommended dribble special moves to use: Any air element move works fine.
Recommended block special moves to use: Any air element move works fine.
Recommended catch special moves to use: Majin the Hand, Mugen the Hand (LaChance).
Watch out for: nobody.
How to win: Put Kane as one of your fowards. This match isn’t really difficult. Many of your strikers can score against their goalie easily (except Hobbes, he doesn’t want to shoot). It is better to use LaChance in this match because of the air element shoots.
Events: You need to put Kane on the pitch and Hobbes and Stonewall must be on the bench. The Big Waves get a free goal (mean) after they steal the ball with their tactic Box Lock. In the second half you have to use Hobbes. If you shoot with Kane after the second half event you also get a free goal. Kane also learns The Typhoon by doing so.

Team name: Desert Lions.
Recommended players to use: Froste, Kane and Nathan.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Legendary Wolf (Froste), The Typhoon (Kane) and other air elemented moves.
Recommended dribble special moves to use: Wind God’s Dance (Nathan) and other air elemented moves.
Recommended block special moves to use: anything works fine.
Recommended catch special moves to use: Mugen the Hand (LaChance).
Watch out for: nobody.
How to win: Use Froste and Kane as your forwards, they will easily break the goalie’s move. LaChance is simply the better keeper to use of the two. This team isn’t really tough but I recommend to use all of your players (except Stonewall, you are now allowed to use him) to win this match because of the FP lose during the match. If your player is getting sweaty, switch him out right away.
Events: Hobbes and Stonewall must be put on the bench. Desert Lions tackle you when the match starts. All your players on the pitch will lose FP. In the second half you need to put Hobbes on the pitch.
Put him as your forward this time, he still will pass instead of shooting in front of the goal. After some talking he won’t hold back anymore and learns Tiger Drive and that’s a free goal for you, now you can score goals with Hobbes in matches.

Team name: Neo National.
Recommended players to use: everyone with a shoot special moves works.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Legendary Wolf (Froste), Fireball Screw (Axel).
Recommended dribble special moves to use: anything works fine.
Recommended block special moves to use: anything works fine.
Recommended catch special moves to use: Fist of Justice (Mark).
Watch out for: King.
How to win: Use Mark instead of Darren now. This team has too many fire moves and LaChance dislikes fire. But watch out for their shoots and use Jack and Stoutberg’s block special moves to block them of course. Their goalie is OP, Infinite Wall stops everything. Use normal shoots to waste the goalie’s TP and then score with your best moves. When King is subbed the scoring becomes easier by a lot.
Events: The match starts and the opponents get a free goal. Your team is surprised. That’s all for the events in this match (finally more freedom).

Team name: Fire Dragon.
Recommended players to use: Hobbes, Nathan, Jack, Axel, Shawn.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Tiger Drive (Hobbes), Thunder Beast (Stoutberg).
Recommended dribble special moves to use: Wind God’s Dance (Nathan) and earth elemented moves.
Recommended block special moves to use: The Wall (Jack) and other earth elemented moves.
Recommended catch special moves to use: Mugen the Hand (LaChance).
Watch out for: Aphrodite, Gazelle and Torch.
How to win: There is much forced plot in this match but you’ll learn a lot of great moves so winning this match is piece of cake. Don’t give the ball to Torch, Gazelle or Aphrodite. They will easily score if they have enough TP left.
Events: You need to put Mark and Stonewall on the bench. Right after the kick off you steal the ball with Froste’s new special move: Snow Angel. But he gets injured after that (no worries, you can still use him this match). Fire Dragon steal the ball again with the tactic Perfect Zone Press and scores with Chaos Break. After that, Nathan and Jack will score a goal with Whirlwind Drop (Nathan learns it). Then you will get the freedom to score more goals. Finally you can use Stonewall in the second half. After some cut-scenes, put Mark in the goal. Stonewal learns Field of Force, a really powerful dribble move but it sometimes fouls. Archer also learns something, Vac Attack. One of my favorite block moves. Hobbes learns Tiger Storm, a combination of Fireball Storm and Tiger Drive, really powerful. Mark finally learns a better catch move: Hammer of Fury.

Now you will be able to take on the world teams, even more powerful than the ones you faced. Sadly you have to say farewell to both Froste and Jordan but Samford and Kevin join you.

Team name: Queen’s Knights.
Recommended players to use: Mark, Hobbes and Kevin.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Gladius Arch (Hobbes), Dragon Slayer (Kevin).
Recommended dribble special moves to use: Wind God’s Dance (Nathan). Field of Force (Stonewall).
Recommended block special moves to use: The Mountain (Jack) and fire elemented moves.
Recommended catch special moves to use: Hammer of Fury (Mark).
Watch out for: Partinus.
How to win: Their goalie is weak compared to Neo’s goalie. Scoring will be easy, any TP consuming move works. Their offense and defense however is pretty good. Use your strongest move to win this match and don’t let Partinus have the ball, his shoots are strong!
Events: Put Mark on the pitch. The Knights use Absolute Knights to steal the ball. Then Partinus shoots from long range, Excalibur. Lucky for you, Mark stops it with Hammer of Fury. In the second half put Stonewall on the pitch if you haven’t already. Partinus shoots again but with Paladin Strike instead. Mark then learns Dimensional Hand (another new move?). Right after that you’ll learn a new tactic, Dual Typhoon.

Team name: Team D.
Recommended players to use: you are forced to use the eleven players you have.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Emperor Penguin No. 2 (Samford). Odin Sword (Bianchi).
Recommended dribble special moves to use: Field of Force (Stonewall), Gale Dash (Samford).
Recommended block special moves to use: all block moves work well.
Recommended catch special moves to use: Hammer of Fury (Mark).
Watch out for: Acuto.
How to win: Hey listen! A new uniform. Yes, that’s right, you are playing as Orpheus the Italian team (what). You can only use four of your own members in this match. The Orpheus players don’t have a high level but their moves are great! All their defenders are good. Bianchi also has a great shoot special move. Use Samford as a Forward, Stonewall and Jude as a Midfielder and Mark of course in the goal. Winning this match will be easy. The opponents foul a lot and aren’t really that powerful overall. Especially the goalie sucks.
Events: Jude’s copycat, Acuto, steals the ball and scores with Emperor Penguin X (jeez what does Dark have with penguins?). But right after that Jude also learns a penguin move: Emperor Penguin No. 3. That’s it for events.

Team name: The Empire.
Recommended players to use: LaChance, Nathan, Axel, Xavier and Hobbes need to be on the pitch.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: none.
Recommended dribble special moves to use: none.
Recommended block special moves to use: none.
Recommended catch special moves to use: none.
Watch out for: nobody.
How to win: you are forced to lose this one, sadly. No advice for this match.
Events: You can’t use Mark, Jude, Stonewall and Samford in this match. During the match the forward of The Empire steals the ball and scores with Hellfire. When The Empire shoots again, LaChance uses a new move: Fiend Hand to stop the ball. Fiend Hand is one of the most powerful catch special moves. LaChance passes the ball to Axel and he scores with Grand Fire, one of the most powerful shoot special moves. Apparently you lose right after that. The Empire got another goal somehow.

Tod Ironside got injured and you’ll get you snowy striker Shawn Froste back. Good stuff! Tod sucks anyway.

Team name: Unicorn.
Recommended players to use: LaChance, Axel, Hobbes
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Tiger Storm (Hobbes), Grand Fire or Fireball Screw/Storm (Axel).
Recommended dribble special moves to use: Wind God’s Dance (Nathan), Field of Force (Stonewall).
Recommended block special moves to use: The Mountain (Jack), Stone Wall (Stoutberg).
Recommended catch special moves to use: Mugen the Hand and Fiend Hand (LaChance).
Watch out for: Erik, Bobby, Krueger and Keats.
How to win: Don’t let them shoot, they possess powerful shoot special moves. Their goalie is a complete joke on the other side. Scoring will be really easy. Sure they have some strong moves like The Icarus (fouls a lot as well) but you are much stronger than them if you trained your team level a little.
Events: Right after the matches starts, Erik steals the ball. In the second half, Unicorn uses their tactics Rolling Thunder and use Grand Fenrir to score a goal. After 20 minutes of the second half, Erik will be benched.

Team name: Team Ogre. (save before this match!)
Recommended players to use: Jude, Axel and Mark.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Spam Grand Fire and Emperor Penguin No. 3, it is really difficult to score with anything else.
Recommended dribble special moves to use: Field of Force (Stonewall).
Recommended block special moves to use: The Mountain (Jack), Vac Attack (Hawkins), Stone Wall (Stoutberg).
Recommended catch special moves to use: Hammer of Fury (Mark), Dimensional Hand (Mark), Fiend Hand (LaChance)
Watch out for: everyone!
How to win: This team is really tough. Even I had trouble with this team. They have really powerful special moves and much TP (to waste). Their goalie is so strong! Spam Grand Fire with a fired up mode and you might score once. Don’t expect to score easily and winning might take more tries. Using Mark is your best choice because he has more guard than LaChance, although LaChance has better moves. If you can’t stop their attacks with your defenders, use them to protect the goal with your keeper so that they won’t get any goals (Shoot Block).
Events: none.

Team name: Orpheus.
Recommended players to use: Jude and Axel.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Grand Fire (Axel), Emperor Penguin No. 3 (Jude). Gladius Arch (Hobbes), Dragon Slayer (Kevin) and Legendary Wolf (Froste).
Recommended dribble special moves to use: Gale Dash (Samford, Banyan), Field of Force (Stonewall), Wind God’s Dance (Nathan) and anything else with much TP.
Recommended block special moves to use: The Mountain (Jack), Stone Wall (Stoutberg) and fire elemented moves.
Recommended catch special moves to use: Mugen the Hand/Fiend Hand (LaChance), Dimensional Hand (Mark).
Watch out for: Nakata and Bianchi.
How to win: They are not so difficult as Team Ogre (phew). Their defense is tough but beatable. Spam your strongest moves in the first half because you’ll need that. In the second half Nakata appears and he is OP! If he gets the ball, it is almost impossible to get it back. Don’t let him shoot either, if he uses Brave Shot he will get almost a guaranteed goal.
Events: Bianchi steals the ball when the match starts. Nakata will appear and play in the second half. Nakata is their true captain. Oh yeah, Ray Dark finally becomes a good person.

Team name: The Kingdom.
Recommended players to use: Froste, Nathan, LaChance, Stoutberg.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Legendary Wolf (Froste), Thunder Beast (Stoutberg), The Hurricane (Nathan).
Recommended dribble special moves to use: Wind God’s Dance (Nathan). Gale Dash (Samford, Banyan) Field of Force (Stonewall).
Recommended block special moves to use: anything with much TP works fine. However I recommend to use the players with air elemented moves (Snow Angel, Whirlwind Force etc).
Recommended catch special moves to use: Mugen the Hand/Fiend Hand (LaChance), Dimensional Hand (Mark).
Watch out for: Robingo.
How to win:  Use everything you got in the first half, using your strongest moves to score goals. They have some strong moves like Super Elastico and Rolling Slide. Their goalie isn’t that strong, use an air elemented shoot and you score easily. Spam your best moves and this match is yours!
Events: In the second half, Robingo gets an automatic goal using Samba Strike.

Team name: Team Zoolan.
Recommended players to use: Mark and anyone else is fine.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Grand Fire (Axel), Tiger Storm (Hobbes). If you have Celestial Smash (Xavier) then use it as well.
Recommended dribble special moves to use: Gale Dash (Samford, Banyan). Field of Force (Stonewall, Jude).
Recommended block special moves to use: The Mountain (Jack) and other earth elemented moves.
Recommended catch special moves to use: God Catch (Mark).
Watch out for: nobody.
How to win: This team has strong dribble moves but most of them foul a lot. Their block moves however don’t do that as much. Their goalie has an alright move but it easy to break with a fire element shoot. Catching their shots will be easy with having God Catch.
Events: During the second half, Mark will learn God Catch as his final and strongest move.

Team name: Little Gigantes.
Recommended players to use: Mark, Axel.
Recommended shoot special moves to use: Grand Fire (Axel), Gladius Arch (Hobbes) etc.
Recommended dribble special moves to use: anything with much TP works fine.
Recommended block special moves to use: anything with much TP works fine.
Recommended catch special moves to use: God Catch (Mark).
Watch out for: Helio.
How to win: Try to keep the ball in the first half. Scoring against Helio is difficult because of his great catch stat and strong moves so I recommend to wait till the second half. In the second half they switched their goalie and that goalie is much weaker. Spam your best moves and you’ll be able to win easily. Watch out for Helio on the field though, he is hard to beat and his X Blast is a tough shot to stop.
Events: In the first half they will score right away after the kick off, surprising the whole team. After the goal, Axel runs to their goal and uses Fireball Screw, no goal! Helio stops it with Soul Hand. In the second half, Helio changes his position and becomes a forward.

Congratulations! You won the tournament and now you are the best in the whole world. But it isn’t over yet!

After beating Little Gigantes you’ll unlock various Competition Routes. Also you can have a rematch with Team Orge but then called Team Ogre Redux. Also you can challenge an Angel Team and a Devil Team. Both teams are really fun to beat but their TP won’t go down, same goes for Team Ogre Redux. They are really difficult so I recommend to train a lot before challenging them. Another great fact is that you can scout players you faced on Liocott Island. I recommend to scout at least a few of the strong players available like Partinus and Torres.

This was the guide, I hope you liked the guide and if you have any feedback or a question then you are free to post here or to PM me.
