As I mentioned before, I think that the highlighted links should change colors to white. That's one feature I've always thought looked nice, but the green isn't my favorite.

Davideo7 : How hard would it be to make a Floating button? Kinda like a menu that scrolls with you, just have the donation button levitate on the screen, that way it is always there and no need to mess up any content with a button placement

Davideo7 : My preference is not filling up those empty spaces. The page looks a bit busy with the boxes but if you want a little more space, then I think stretching the ''main page'' a bit helps. That might be also the solution of the ''too many boxes'' problem.

Overall I find the new design pretty good and easy to use. But I think the page is a little too dark.

So this is what I've recently done, which actually took me a long time to get perfected. If the user's browser width is more than 1662 pixels, then it'll show optional content boxes to the very left and very right of the page. If a user's browser width is between 1332 pixels and 1662 pixels, then it'll show those content boxes just to the very right of the page. If a user's browser width is less than 1332 pixels, it wont show them at all. If you have a wide monitor, you can resize your browser width to see what I mean.

The optional content boxes to the sides of the page will contain very hand information and features but they can be removed if a user doesn't like them (once I'm done). I also plan to make it so that they can be altered in many ways.

Darthdaishi : A floating donate button could be annoying but I could possibly place it in one of those content boxes that appear at the very sides of the page.


TornadoMudkip : It's kinda funny because a lot of users complained about all of that empty space on the sides lol. Those boxes will be optional and a user will be able to remove them once I'm done.

It probably appeared a little too dark because I was messing with a few things last night and it resulted into the font color being darker. I've changed the font color back. The page isn't that much darker than a lot of the current pages on vizzed.

I see that David is changing and putting some new things in the new testing index page. I actually kinda like that pin feature though I don't quite know what it is useful for yet. (But I think it is going to turn into something cool.) btw, David I like that testing poem.

I remember seeing David also put some "Your Friends Actions" feature thing as well but it looks like he removed it. 

mohammedroxx3 : Yeah I'm getting pretty close to make this page as the default index page. After that I'll be working on migrating all of the current pages of the site to the new code. The Pin feature has become an exciting feature and I'm very excited to introduce it to users.

Expect to see a thread regarding the new site design/layout within the next 24 or so hours.

I don't know if it has been suggested or not ( pretty sure it has at least once ) , but have you thought about adding a search box that only searches for stuff on the site? 
Or make is possible to search for a keyword by putting a hashtag in the URL? For example, if I wanted to look up posts with the word " Seattle " in them, I could type something along the lines of https://www.vizzed.com/boards/#Seattle and everything on the board side of the site with the word Seattle would show up on a search results kind of page. 

Also, are you only working on the index page right now? Or other parts of the site? Because, to be honest, I never use the index page. I go straight the board part of the site, and if I need to go to the RGR, I just click the icon in the top of the page.

Any site running ABXD that has the Glossy theme.

It's not a popular opinion, but I love that theme on the board software!

(also YouTube must be the ugliest site I have seen ever)
