I'm pretty sure you guys are the only ones missing. Come on in to Thing1's stream whenever you get online if you can so we can discuss this competition.

My laptop crashed twice today and I'm having trouble starting it. (On phone atm)

My submission is having leggy come up with a list of Pokemon on games that are on Vizzed, and whoever catches them first get points. If you can catch them anyways, you get a small points. 

Name of Activity: Useless Website Hunting
Activity: Each member has to find useless websites. The websites will be judged based on uselessness (duh) and hilarity.
Rules:
1. Follows all Vizzed's rules.
2. 3 submissions total for each member. Anything over won't count.
3. The submissions must be appropriate but also serve no purpose.
4. You can't take another member's website. First come first serve.
Judging: The websites will be judged out of 20 points, 10 for each category (funniness and uselessness). Only 15 websites will place, but you get 5 bonus points per submission. The rankings will be as follows.

1st: 50 points
2nd-4th: 30 points
5th-10th: 20 points
10th-15th: 10 points

(and that's it. Simple, right?)

Name of Activity: Mario Paint Art Contest
Activity: Each member has to make a masterpiece in Mario Paint
Rules:
1. All of Vizzed's rules apply. (Please, no art of genitals, fornication, or brutally high detailed dismemberment)
2. No making a musical tribute to Leggy in the music maker
Judging: Judging should be judged by quality, humor, and which one was just great.

Name of Activity: Try not to laugh- Vizzed Camp edition.

Activity: Every participant will find and post what they think (or rather, what legacyme3 thinks) are the funniest youtube videos out there. 

Rules: 
-Up to 2 submissions / participant.
-Videos have to be on youtube.
-Video's can't be longer than 10 minutes.
-When submitting videos, post the link as well.
-A video may only get submitted once in your cabin. 
-Every submission has to be PG (no cursing or inappropriate content).
-Any other basic Vizzed rules apply.

Judging: Every captain will make a big compilation post, similar to the screenshot competition. They also have to post the link to every submitted video. Legacyme3 will be the judge, as we're trying to make him laugh. The more he laughs and/or finds your video entertaining, the higher you'll score and the more points you'll earn! Only the top 25 videos will place. 

1st = 40 points
2nd-4th = 30 points
5th-10th = 20 points
10th-20th = 10 points
20th-25th = 5 points

Every submitted video will earn your team 5 bonus points!

Name of the Activity: No Thumbs

Activity: Every contender tapes up their thumbs and spend 30 minutes in chat. Whoever types the best and the fastest in the overall time wins. This can be done over a series of days as well, like a tournament. As a different option, though... We could post on the board without thumbs if the chat thing doesn't work out, but I'm worried that would sound like spam.

Rules:
- At the very least, the thumb must not be used.
- Don't be stupid and block off your circulation by putting on tape too tight or something like that.
- If we find out you cheated and DID use your thumbs, you will be DQ'd.
- All chat rules applies, along with Vizzed laws.
- No brownnosing legacyme3.

Judging: The judges need to pay attention to things like typos, disorganized words, or sentence structure, or shortcut words (eg. u ur lel). The judges decide who has the best ability to speak without thumbs!

1st - 25 points
2nd - 20 points
3rd to 5th - 15 points
6th to 10th - 10 points
Any other contenders that did not place - 5 bonus points for participation.

Name: Funniest Glitch Hunt

Activity: Make a video showing the funniest glitch in an RGR game that you can is submitted either by uploading it on youtube (free software like hypercam can be used) and adding it to the game page or using the built in recorder of the RGR plugin and then linking it through a post in your team thread.

Rules:

- It has to be an official game, hacks are not allowed since glitches are usually more abundant.

- Of course vizzed rules still apply, so nothing that is inappropriate, or breaks the site rules in any way.

- It has to be something you submitted, linking a video someone else recorded does not count.

- Only 1 submission allowed per person.

Judging: The captain of each team will post a compilation post, failing to do that can result in points being taken away if Legacyme3 deems it neccessary. Legacyme3 and whatever judge(s) he may choose will then pick the videos of the glitches he finds most entertaining and rank the funniest ones from 1-10, they will also be judged based on originality, like if it's a glitch many people know about that can result in it placing lower.

1st place : 50 points
2nd place : 40 points
3rd place : 30 points
4th place : 20 points
5th to 10th place: 10 points

5 participation points will awarded for each submission regardless of wheter they place in the top 10 or not.

Zlinqx : I could do that if it wasn't in the RGR. I have found some interesting glitches throughout the Halo games.

Well I'll admit this isn't my favorite activity so far (I blame my crappy drawing skills) but I'm going to try and submit something tomorrow. We still need to submit stuff so everybody try to get something in at least before the deadline, we're currently the one team with basically no submissions so far :/

A painting of IT Park, and the scenic Mafia Warehouse. And the statue to Leggy, the founder of the city.

Surprised User is the only other person to submit something at this point. C'mon, guys. Get going! :V 

Anyways, here's mine. I almost stopped just about half way, but with some motivation, was able to keep pushing until I got to the point where I was okay with how it turned out. Basically, I made Innocent Town in the middle of a Mafia game. 

 

legacyme3 : Not sure if this was where I should ask questions about the rules but it should be asked in "thread" in the activity post so I assumed you meant the respective team threads.

I was just wondering since there's no limit on how many submissions you can submit does that also mean, there's no limit on how many submissions of a user can place? Because from reading the rules that doesn't seem like the case.

Bringing it up since if there isn't that seems kind of unfair, meaning basically whoever is good at this one activity may end up dominating the whole competition because it's possible to score so many points in this single activity compared to previous ones, instead of it being about which team can do the best job at mastering several different challenges which I figured was supposed to be part of the challenge.

Eh this was my first experience with mario paint.

Decided to draw someone getting stabbed, since that thought was in my head when I first entered the forum lol.
I don't know how everyone can draw that well with a mouse.

You can look at it that way, but the challenge was created with the idea that effort is what should determine the winner, not neccessarily who is the best at one stage of the competition.

The original Vizzed Camp featured one cabin that tried every week, two who had some good effort, and one that showed no effort at all, and the scoring system is basically the same as it was back then.

The team that put in the most effort won, the team that had the least effort lost dramatically.

So far, this camp has been exactly the same. The cabin that is trying the hardest (yours) is in the lead. The cabin that is trying the least hardest (not naming names yet...) isn't.

This is just another challenge in a line of challenges. In any given challenge, you have the ability to go on a run, and dominate, since all the challenges with individual scoring have allowed you to sweep the competition.

The off hand is, while someone COULD potentially make 20 submissions... odds are they wouldn't all be very good, and thus, wouldn't place high.

The challenge is to make the best balance of quality and quantity. You want to place high, but you also want to place as much as possible.

As for concerns about the point totals being higher... that's by design. This is a REALLY difficult challenge to do well for basically everyone. So thus, I had to give you incentive to not give up, and actually try your hardest to score points. With so many points on the line, you legitimately CAN'T afford to do nothing, or you might cost your team in the long run.

I apologize if this is inconvenient for all of you, I really really do, but with activity being less than I envisioned, it seemed the best result to entice everyone to give it their all. I won't be changing things though, there's a method to the madness.

Long story short, this competition is about effort. So everyone needs to put some in.

At this time, I also announce officially that the deadline has been moved up.

The challenge was set to end tomorrow, but due to other commitments and what I figure to be a busy week, I've extended the period to July 25th.

With the contest ending in mid-late August, I hate to delay this one competition, since it may mean one competition gets cut, but it is imperative that all teams submit things, so that they don't fall too far back.

I don't have an official end-date set, but I do plan this challenge, and at least two-three more, with one of them being the "SUPER MEGA" challenge that will probably decide things.

We're at the 2/3 point of the camp. Make the last 1/3 count.

Zlinqx : I have been busy all week, so that is why I haven't been able to do anything for this week's competition. Also, I have recently gotten sick again, with my uvula getting extremely swollen, more so than usual than when it does. I think I am going to go to the hospital either when I get off of work tonight, or when I wake up tomorrow. So, sorry to say, but don't expect a submission from me for Mario Paint.

That's my Innocent Town. My picture in my mind was a sign with "Innocent Town" on it with hearts and flowers and nice things, and a blue sky. Once you got closer into the city the sky got darker and more orange/red, and the city was a huge purge or anarchy-like setting, since Innocent Town is a fun haven from other stricter parts of vizzed, hidden behind it's, well, innocent name of "Innocent Town".

Of course, I'm terrible at putting that into art form as you can see xP

legacyme3 : Fair enough I just feel it gives an edge to those who are good at this specific activity because you can gain so many points if you put in the effort of course, meanwhile while someone could've put in a ton of effort in another activity and be good at it, there was a limit on how much you could score. Still I see your point and why you made the points so high though I still think there should be some cap on amount of submissions :V

Oh well so far I'm having problems even getting Mario Paint to work, can't reconfigure the controls to the mouse since it wont show up as an option, anybody else had this problem?

Anyways I'll try to figure out a work around otherwise I may end up with no submission this time around which I really want to avoid.
