Sorry for the title being in all caps but this is serious you see my Omega Ruby save file stopped working but not because it was corrupted but because it could not be read by the version. The way this is triggered is randomly if your 3ds is connected to the Internet you will get a prompt saying if you would like to do a system update DO NOT UPDATE YET first if you have bank deposit all the rare Pokémon you have into it because if you update before them you will never see them again. Now if you don't have Pokémon bank then have a friend trade all your rare Pokémon to their game that way they will keep them for you. After that do the update and upon starting the game it will display the following message "The saved data is not compatible with this version, so it can't be used" now do the delete save data code and restart the game sorry there is no way around it but at least you saved your Pokémon unlike me (R.I.P Shiny Metagross and my Perfect Absol).
