My first experience was mega man 1. I was quite young when I got it and I actually really hated the game. It was too hard, at least at the time. It took me a long time to figure out how to be elecman's level and I didn't really like the ice level. Once I beat those bosses I remember being rewarded with horrible castle stages that were so hard with even harder bosses. I actually stopped playing it and just bought mega man 2, which I loved and still do today. I did finally beat mega man 1, but I think I was in my late teens when I did.

I didn't play Mega Man for years after it came out. No one I knew had it, and the box-art was so bad I could have done a better job. With crayons.. Seriously bad Atari games were superior. Look at those boxes. Years later I tried it out and had fun with it. Not my style of game anymore though really. ps- You used to have to rent a game first(if possible) or take a chance based on the box. No internet, not really any magazines either. Word of mouth.

I was around 10 when the Original came out and rented it from the video store the day it hit the shelves. I was in love instantly and played it for hours the entire weekend. Even took a late fee so I could get as far as possible in it. From there I purchased the first 4 games on NES when each came out because I loved the series so much.

Oh man,I was introduced in the early 90's to the masterpiece Megaman 2. A friend of mine and my brother had the game and I was usually called in if they were getting their tails handed to them by a boss.

I was introduced to Megaman via the NT Warrior anime when it was on Jetix (I think it was on there). This was a tie into the Battle Network series (my favorite out of the megaman franchise) and I ended up playing BN 1 and loving the characters a lot. BN 3 is clearly my favorite out of the 6 games. After that Starforce came out an played those games and enjoyed them for the most part. It wouldn't be until last year when I played the original megaman and the X series.

Back in 2006 I got a Gameboy SP and with it Mega Man Battle Network 5. At my age I found it impossible to comprehend all of the RPG mechanics and stuff. But I loved the graphics and characters and looked for more games in the franchise.

When I discovered emulators 3 years later I put myself into Mega Man heaven and I've (almost) never looked back.

My brothers and I would spend the night at my 'Mamaw's house' fairly often.
At some point around '95 or 96' (I'm 25 now), she'd gotten her hands on a 'Regular Nintendo.'
As fate would have it; amongst the games that were with it was MegaMan 2.
Countless nights, we'd fight over which game to put in next. Almost every time I would
chime in for MegaMan over the likes of ExciteBike, the 3 Marios and Metal Gear (none of us could really understand that game then)
Though to be fair, we were all pretty content with Super Mario Bros. 3
That was only the beginning, of course. Begging and pleading along with Birthday and Christmas wishlists would score me most MegaMan games over the years. Some did manage to miss my grasp though (MM7, X2&3, Soccer and of course Rockman & Bass), until I got into computers that is.

The rest...well, that's history. At least until Capcom gets their s*** together!!!

I first got introduced to Mega Man through a friend having Mega Man Legends for the PS1. Once we got close and started hanging out more often, we started playing games together and this was one he wanted me to see. Needless to say I was not disappointed. It's still my favorite Mega Man game, probably because it's what brought me into the great franchise.

I was introduced to Megaman when I was 4, with the game Megaman X, the music and gameplay are still amazing to this day.
I explicitly remember my first time seeing the first few screens of the game and the green of it is etched into my eyes, it always looks like everything is tunnel vision Ed when I remember my childhood, weird.

The fist time I played Mega Man I was probably around 6 or 7. I had borrowed my cousins Game Boy and played Megaman Battle Network 3 (he was in the Bubble Man part of the game). I had played it and accidentally dropped the Game Boy Advance, which erased the save file for some reason. When my cousin found out he got angry and gave up on playing, telling me that he didn't care what I did with the game anymore. So I took it, played it, and beat it. Ever since then, I looked for more BN games to play (and somehow ended up with 3 physical copies of MMBN4 Blue Moon), and beat that. In around 2011, I decided to try and look for a way to play Battle Network games online, and after a few months of failing, I ended up finding Vizzed. The rest is history, as I went on to beat pretty much all of the Mega Man games that were on the site.

I was first introduced to Megaman in a Toys R Us store when I was 6, my first experience with Megaman was Megaman and Bass. I remember getting the game because the box art was cool and it was Christmas and I just had got my silver Nintendo gameboy SP system. Now my experience with the game was at 6 years old it was kinda hard for me to beat I only managed to beat the green blob boss at the beginning and Cold Man, I would try beating it again till I was either 7 or 8.
