Do you usually laugh a very similar way each time? Does your laugh usually change pitch if you're laughing harder or laughing more calmly? Are you laughing at this thread? The question with a line through it isn't meant to be answered in this thread, but you can answer it if you'd like

It seems I can never keep a consistent laugh. One second I'll do a laugh I consider very normal, and a few seconds later I'll do a very different laugh that sounds weird to me and to everyone else. I get made fun of for that, and I try to control it, but a lot of the time it doesn't work My laugh is normally a pretty low pitch since that's how my voice is, but if I'm laughing hard, I go high-pitch and embarrass myself. XD

I'm going to answer my joke question too. I'm laughing a lot at this thread, because it's a smart idea for a thread and I find most of what I typed funny XD

I feel like I've lost my ability to actually laugh.

Like, I don't use my vocal chords. Instead it's a few shallow breaths from my mouth that resemble laughing.

When I find something ridiculously hilarious, I unintentionally holding my breath while I'm laughing mentally.

It's weird, I know.

Unfortunately the list is too long for laugh-box transplants or I'd have gotten one already.

It's actually one of those things that nobody in real life knows about me, because I've gotten really good at hiding it.

I can never keep a consistent laugh either, every time I laugh at something that's really good, every se,one the volume and everything about my laugh will randomly change.

Yeah, I have a quick mind, if I'm in the middle of laughing, anything I see within a block of me can instantly cause me to laugh just a bit more or a bit less.

EideticMemory : Oh, its not just the pitch, you can't forget the facial expressions as well, those change too.

zanderlex : I'm the same way. I can be laughing hard and then look at something and laugh even harder, or laugh really hard and then look at something and nearly stop laughing.

Its totally different for me though, imagine a hybrid of the joker and a heyena. (I think that's what I'm thinking of)

I have what you call ladies and gentlemen a silent laugh, depending on how hard I laugh.. The harder the quieter I get. It's weird
but oh well.
