Well I'm finally back from all of my birthday stuff, hopefully there's a few things that I can do to push for a few extra points here and there.

First week of the TdV and the IB122 is being silenced by Singelli. It's hard to cheer for only one of them, although it's true that only one of them is competing seriously with the clear intention of winning. I guess I'll wait for another week to see how the competition develops before deciding if the IB122 will get his precious 7 points in Red the 25th. Nothing personal, just fulfilling my role .

Nice, manages to get my 2nd day of Blue, my 3rd jersey of the month. Maybe I can really kick it into gear and move up into 1st for blue by the end of tomorrow.

I'm surprised that the competition hasn't been more intense since a lot of people are getting days off school due to snow. It's still been pretty intense, though, so I'm happy with it.

Today's Double CP Action is Video Submission.

New Rule of as 1/9/2015: The Game Content action no longer counts toward the Green Jersey. The action still counts toward the Red Jersey though.

The reason for this new rule is because Singelli (and other staff members) is able to earn way too many actions in a very short amount of time which makes it impossible for anyone else to compete against her in the Green Jersey competition. For example, she usually averages 10 actions per a minute while adding game content which means she can basically win that Jersey by only having to invest 25 minutes of her time.

IgorBird122 : Jeez! 1335 CP! I wonder if that's the record for the red jersey. You also posted over 9,000 words yesterday! What an astounding performance!

zanderlex : You won the blue jersey on your birthday so you get it as a one-day-late present today!

Davideo7 :  *sniffles* But all game content?  Nobody else does that, right?  What if I agree to just stay off the sc4 games and leave them alone until the competition is over?  They are the only ones that take absolutely no time. If I were working on the "P" games, for example, it wouldn't be so quick for me.  The sc4 games are just fast-going because I already know none of them work, so I can place their information in and keep going.  I wouldn't mind doing that, since I already acknowledged that I didn't think it was fair.

Also, I'm kind of sad that my green jersey from yesterday was stripped from me even though the rule starts today. That doesn't seem completely fair.    If I had known about it, I could have done something else, since I want to secure green as often as possible.

PacmanandMariofan : I'm not really too sure, but I may have broke the all time CP record scored in a single day on Vizzed since it's introduction in April 2013. Which I never though I would get, but I have posted 3 2,000-worded reviews (A Tomodachi Life review, a New Super Mario Bros. 2 review and Super Smash Bros. 4 on 3DS review) on where reviews were double for CPs which really gained my momentum. I was thinking of doing a 4th review, but I was like nah.

If it wasn't for Janus yesterday, I would of got 2 7-pointers instead of 1 7-pointer, but oh well.

Singelli : True but it's also not fair that you've earned so many points in the Green Jersey competition up until this point with very little effort. Someone could also argue that the fair thing to do would be to recalculate all of those days. A few nights ago I had invested a few hours getting a nice score in the Green Jersey competition and then in the last minutes of the night, you caught up to me and passed me very quickly even though I had a big lead over you.

How many actions can you do with game adding if it's not sc4 games?

I'm not sure, but I'll test it sometime tonight or tomorrow and let you know.

Couldn't anybody add game content though?  (Even if it has to be approved?) It's not like nobody else could have done the same.  I do think it's probably too easy, but so are a lot of things, like submitting terrible screenshots, navigating forums, and rating things.  What if you just lowered the number of actions that count per day?

I'm probably sounding more argumentative than I'm meaning to be, just so you know. I do agree that getting points for sc4 games was way too easy, which is why I suggested discounting them at the beginning. I was just really excited about FINALLY making headway on that sc4 game list. I wanted to secure the green, sure.... but I was even more excited about seeing the end of that list. It seemed like a way to kill two birds with one stone.  I could always work on something else though.

IgorBird122 : If you did, that means you beat tRIUNE at a CP record, and that's something to be very proud of.

PacmanandMariofan : Wait, I take that back, tRIUNE holds the record of most CPs scored in a single day, I forgot what he scored, but it makes my score look tiny.

Singelli : You don't have to worry about me, I normally focus more on yellow and red. and a tiny bit of blue. But I'm more likely won't compete much in green, although I might here and there, but that's mostly it. I think adding game content is staff actions and David is doing away with staff actions.

Singelli : Not everyone submits terrible screenshots though and we'd probably DQ and/or ban someone for doing that. Unique screenshots are actually time consuming to find, take and submit, even if they're terrible. If I was going to spend an hour playing games, I'd probably end up with around 30 unique screenshots, depending on the games. That's not a lot compared to how quickly users can do actions when it comes to content adding to games.

I'll use Ferdinand as an example on how much work it takes to come up with unique screenshots. Yesterday it took him about 40 minutes to submit 15 screenshots. He probably averages around 20 screenshots per an hour and probably rarely submits more than 25 per an hour.

Forum navigating is easy but you only have a limit on how many times you can get credit for it per a day, same with rating things.

I'll make adjustments once you can find out for me how many actions you can do in an hour with game content adding.

Davideo7 : yeah, I'd like that because I'd feel bad if everyone lost out on those point opportunities because of me. I'll also stay away from this sc4 games for this month. Thanks. (Btw, you should ask Ferdinand if he wants a staff position. He spends a great deal of time working on great screen shots every day and has done so for months. He might as well be staff. )

PacmanandMariofan : I also think that tRIUNE permanently DQed himself from Red because on how many CPs he gets per day, he would get 7-pointers in the red everyday during TdV no matter how hard we try, he gets so much CPs per day.
