One of my best strategys for tournament fighters on the super nintendo is to choose Michaelangelo in the tournament mode.In every match try to preform a special rolling attack and it's pretty similar to " Blanka's rolling attack from Streetfighter" and also it's the same controls ,if you dont know it ,it's hold backwards for 1 second or more then at the sametime press forward right away along with fierce punch ,most of the time your opponent will block the special move mostly every time you do,but if you're lucky enough ,there will be times when he will get hit by it taking tremendous hit's to the head that will get him groggy ,but anyways if for some reason he keeps blocking it ,you always get benefits from it because you'll get your power meter special filled up anyway and when it's full ,press fierce punch and fierce kick at the same time ( close to the opponent as possible )and michaelangelo will unleash his endless raging combos that will automatically drain a tremendous amount of energy out of your opponent .You'll deffinetly need to do this type of strategy especially when you're going up against really formidible fighters that are really difficult to pick up a win over like the Shredder ,ralphael ,Ratking and Karai. You can also pick another turtle (I recommend Ralphael) because it's the same buttons for his special moves ,hold back, then forward and fierce punch ,he wont do a rolling attack like michaelangelo but instead he will preform a spinning tornado (Similar to M.Bisons psycho crusher from the game "Street fighter" ) with both his sai's pointing at his opponent. If your opponent blocks this all the time ,then as soon as the move ends ,right away hold down the fierce punch button and press either left or right depending where your opponent is standing (Left if he is standing on the left or right if he is standing on the right) and preform a throw (Works for me always) then repeat .And just like michaelangelo your power bar for your raging special move will get filled up quicker if your opponent keeps blocking the spinning sai .Either way, it's a way to win.Another character you can win with using (The same EXACT WAYS ) is with the shredder (Back ,forward ,fierce punch ) and he will preform a dashing claw uppercut ,but for this one, you'll have to keep doing that over and over as quick as possible .Maybe at first it wont be as simple as i write it,but with practice and an idea of how to get it done ,you'll eventually find the way and be good at it.I prefer the tournament mode over the story mode because in story mode you wont get any special move power bars,it's easier to win matches in tournament mode. And also ,fix the speed setting in options ,make it as fast as possible (Just my suggestions) this fighting game is all about timing ,timing your moves properly and preforming your special raging attacks as soon as your special power bar gets filled, but be careful, the more time you spend with the power bar flashing ,it can disappear and turn to zero again .Use it when given the opportunity .Hope this strategy actually works for whoever actually trys it .(Works for me)
