I doubt that. Pokémon Blue should have been Pokémon green. For some reason, they decided to rename it blue for international release so the remake of green is also the remake of blue.

I don't see why there should be a remake. Both Fire Red and Leaf Green already cover up all the spots for the Pokemon or trainers you're unable to catch and battle with. A remake of a Blue version would be redundant, as we already have everything in FR and LG.

Leaf Green is Blue version.
It's like Surgiac said, in Japan the original games were Red and Green, when it was released in english Green became Blue.
There was also a Blue version in Japan, but that was a special mail order game and was different to the Blue version we saw.

While the SeaBlue game is alright, its in another language. Portugese or Spanish, but im leaning towards Portugese since it doesnt match the spanish from my classes. So that turns it off to many people you know? And like everyone else said, it wouldn't work in this time. I mean, maybe as a specialized 3rd game to FR and LG it might have, but we are on the horizon of the 5th Gen. Why go back technically to 1st Gen, with a smattering of 2nd and 3rd Gen, and better graphics? Even 3rd Gen is pushing it as far as updates. So i doubt they will remake Blue. Instead, my guess is they will continue with the remakes and within 5 years we will probably see a remake of Sapphire and Ruby. I will be ready for that, and ill buy it immediately. Maybe itll be allowed to go to 3 regions?
