What do I think of this? One word: AMAZING!

Yeah, Ocarina of Time gets a remake, so why not Majora's Mask? If you ask me, every popular Zelda game deserves a remake. I have never played Majora's Mask before, but I think it is wonderful. The graphics will be much better than before! Looking forward to the game! ~

It's my single favorite game of all time, so I'm stoked! Everything that's usual Zelda fair was great, but it had so much more going for it than that. The 3 day cycle, the side quests that made great use of those mechanics, and the ingenious way everything was designed to depress the player. Everything in that game is just so damn amazing. Between Majora's Mask 3D and FFXIV's Heavensward expansion, my life will be non-existant next spring. I can't wait!







EDIT: Yeah, they messed the moon's face up pretty good. One of the great things about the moon's face in the N64 version is that it displayed multiple emotions, namely anger and pain. Seeing a human face on something that isn't human is innately scary to us, and seeing a face on a non-human object that you can't tell what it's feeling is even more scary to us. All of the tension that adds, plus the fact that it descends slowly upon Termina, making the player doubt their abilities all while being forced to look at that face. It's brilliant. Then you have the MM3D version of the moon, which is just grr angry, not to mention it looks completely ridiculous from any angle except for straight forward







Aside from my gripes with the moon, I couldn't be more excited for the remake. It's everything that I wanted. A definite day 1 buy
