that doesn't make either gender better or worse overall.... just in certain cases.... and "on average"....

Physically males are better but I think it more or less balances out in the end. For example, females can handle G-Forces better than males. So, yeah like Geeogree said overall they are pretty equal.

I don't see why it would be a problem if the girl does the asking. Maybe she had been droppoing hints forever Light Knight and you just didn't know. Lol.

[nod]... in this day and age, a girl asking a guy out is totally normal... 30 years ago... it wouldn't have happened (as much).... the girl would have flirted... but it would have been the guys job to ask her out....

[nods back] Yeah also in the 50's if a girl wouldn't accept unless you asked her three days ahead of time.

I mean if a girl asked me out, after I came out of the coma, I would accept if I liked her.

But, I do know of girls that won't ask a guy out.

Well, guys usually think differently than girls and can't figure them out. Taking subtle hints from a girl is impossible for some guys.

Well I guess thats the way the classic dating structure is set up. Ummmm I think the system is pretty good because the guy would ask the girl out if he wanted to go out with a girl. As for the guy being blind, I guess I could see the girl asking him out then. Or lets say they were good friends and they know each other.

Girls do live longer on average too.

Girls live longer on average because we don't exert so much energy in our earlier years. =P

As for the asking out bit.. I won't ask a guy out. too many bad memories from that.. >.<

I guess I'm just old fasioned. Like even when it comes to dancing, not that I think guys are anymore domnent or should lead or anything, but it just seems that I like the tradition of the guy asking the girl, it saves her the trouble of asking. I don't know, my sisters alwas kinda told me too that it was that way. I wish we had more girls in here to see what they think. But I'm a very... how to say this, I really believe that the guy has alot of classic respondsability (wow is that spelled right). Like I believe it is tottaly wrong for a guy to hit a girl, unless it's absolutly nessesary, or if it's just a little fun. And I think the guy should ask to dance, should ask to go out, should propose. I think the father must protect the girl-not that she nessesarly needs it- until she is married then t's the husbands job. Even with a sister, it would be the brohers job to look out for her, expetialy when it comes to guys, with friends also I guy friend of a girl should look out for her, expetialy when it comes to guys. Now all thise stuff is not because I think a girl is less capable of taking care of herself, but it gives a reason for guys to live, and to me girl should be treaded with the upmost respect.

I will give you the protection thing. That is how I feel as well. I know some girls that can easily take care of themselves, but I prefer to protect them if necessary.

I'm not saying it does. I just always feel like I should protect any girl. I know some girls that could beat up anyone they needed too, and they are very sweet as well.

hmmm, I think I know. . but I want to here someone elses point of view (preferably a girls). But I seem to have better luck with girls that are older than I (like 23 and 24, I have actually had girls ask me out that are this age ) than I do in my own high school. This is pretty frusterating I suppose. Perhaps when a girl around my age asks me out I should actually say yes. . . (there have been a couple this year and I have said no, how stupid... one of them however was my best friends sister what would you have done?) Well back to the point, why do you peoples think this is?

I generally get along better with guys in that age group as well. I'm not sure why.. could be a maturity thing? *shrugs*

i got a gf,witch is pretty amasing for me,but the thing is she isnt superficial.(unlike every girl in my school)she actuly cares and it feels a lil weird to have someone caring that much about you,but i kinda like it,id tell you the whole story,but i think id bore you unless you want to hear it,do you?anyone?
