That's a really nice layout. The most embarrassing thing that happened to me? Well gosh... I could give so many examples that it's ridiculous. ![]() Alright, in middle school, I developed my first (and really, last) very serious crush. I crushed on this boy SO hard. We had PE together and we always walked around the gym side by side (back when gym classes actually made you do stuff..). We were introverts, so we really only talked to each other. For that class, we also had to wear red sweats.. and I HATED them. Therefore, every now and then, I would wear my jeans and take the point deduction.. I just wouldn't do it often enough to lower my grade significantly and get into trouble. Well, one of the days I decided to wear jeans, I had.... er... a girl accident? *cough cough* It was really bad, but I had no idea that anything awkward had occurred. As my crush and I walked around the gym floor, I kept hearing kids screaming behind me, and laughing. I thought they were making fun of me for walking with the boy and talking to him, so I just kept going. I'm sure my face was brilliant red, but I tried to pretend I didn't hear them, just as I'm sure the boy did. I probably went around that gym three times before I... realized what had happened. Absolutely traumatized, I went to the only female gym teacher to ask if I could be excused, and I told her why. She told me to change in the locker room, but when I got to the door, it was locked. I was sooooo embarrassed that I didn't dare go back out onto the gym floor, so I stood by the door out of sight, crying. It took 30 minutes for her to come check on me and let me in. I called my mom and could hardly speak to her because I was crying so hard. She laughed a little, feeling sorry for me, and told me to wait in the office so she could bring me new clothes. Well, when I got to the office, I didn't want to sit in the chairs because they were all cushioned. The stupid office walls were all made of glass, so it's not like I could lean against a wall, either. I tried my very best to move my rear out of view of the parents, children, and staff that moved in and out of the room... and it seemed like I waited FOREVER. I kept watching the front doors, and to my horror..... guess who came?!?! My DAD walked through the doors with a brown paper bag. He was probably as uncomfortable I was, and apologized as he handed the bag to me. I just wanted to cry! He tried to hug me in an effort to show sympathy, but I certainly didn't want him hugging me too!!! Anyways, after he left and all, I changed and went to my classroom. The office hadn't written me a pass, so I got into my next class 30 minutes late. I was already shy and never spoke to anyone, so I didn't defend my tardiness and moved to my seat with all eyes on me. It was just awful. thephantombrain : You know... another Kelli story. ![]() The most embarrassing thing that happened to me? Well gosh... Singelli : Oh, the joys of childhood! I know you're not the only girl that's happened to but it has to be a terrible experience. The most embarrassing thing that happened to me in school? I had a really rough time when I was younger. So much that I suppose I have a hard time remembering much of anything good about attending school from 3rd to 8th. You know, I honestly can't remember just one thing. When I try to put my finger on one specific instance I get a really uncomfortable memory of being generally embarrassed that I actually existed and that feeling lasted for a period of about 5 or 6 years. ...There was this girl I had a crush on who happened to be a popular girl. We sat next to each other in class. One day I asked her if she wanted to "go out." She laughed at me and said she didn't date geeks. I wasn't expecting her to be so cruel and in those days I wasn't skilled with the snappy comeback. I was devastated. She told all her friends and they had a good laugh at my expense. Then she proceeded to mess with me about it for the rest of the quarter. ![]() She was really cute and petite then. So, I suppose I got the last laugh cause she got pregnant at 15 and now weighs about 300 pounds. The most embarrassing thing that happened to me in school? I think the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to me in school was the 1 and only time I ever decided to skip class, I got caught with 5 minutes left in the period. I used a note from the day before, saying I had permission to be out of class and to use the computer. XD |

The most embarrassing moment that I remember from school was during my freshman year of high school. Instead of the seats arranged in a single vertical line for each row, the seats were in groups of 4. I was sitting with this guy that I had a big crush on along with 2 other people. My teacher wanted to switch around the groups which meant switching people to other groups and such. My teacher decides to call on the guy that I had a crush on, to switch his seat and move into another group. I suddenly said no without even thinking about it and the response just came out of nowhere. The teacher asked me if I wanted him to stay in my group and I said that it doesn't matter in a nervous and hesitant tone. She switched him to another group afterwards. This girl and her friend were teasing me that I liked him and some other people in my class were giggling. I was thinking that he didn't want to talk to me afterwards or if he noticed that I liked him. I turned really red and humiliated that I just wanted to jump out of a window. Singelli : I can totally relate that story many times except my parents were never around to help me bring an extra set of clothes since they had work. I basically had to cover myself or try not to get any attention at all from others. thephantombrain : That really sucks but she got what she deserved. That's her loss. I am one of the females who actually likes geeks and nerds more than people that is out of my league in physical appearances. There is still hope for nerds and geeks who are looking for love. I am sure that there are other females out there who will like you if you don't have a girlfriend yet. As the years go by, I forget more and more of what happened in school. I'm only 22, and I've already forgotten pretty much everything, because my high school life was either incredibly dull, or incredibly unimportant.
I'll preface this by saying I wasn't a popular kid (I know, shock), but I am not sure I could say I was unpopular or disliked. I think it's more likely no one even knew I existed, because outside of a couple of people, no one talked to me or picked on me. I was pretty much a ghost. But the most embarrassing thing to happen in high school that I can think of off hand is this one incident when I was a senior (yeah, not even a freshman) and at cross country practice. For the past three years, across two different high schools, I was an ok, but nothing special runner. I was generally in the middle of the JV team, being about as average as you could possibly imagine. Year to year, the people on the JV team changed. Very few people were on JV for more than a year, whether because they dropped the sport entirely, or because they moved up a level over the summer and were now Varsity. Up until my senior year, I was a three year JV runner, and I was in the middle of my fourth. My best friend, and the person who got me to join all those years ago then pantsed me in front of everyone on the team, guys and girls (there were a couple of girls I liked on the team). This was at a point in my life where I wore briefs rather than boxers or boxer briefs (more comfortable at the time). I also wore baggy shirts, long enough that if not for the fact I wore basketball shorts to practices, you would only see the shirt (I like baggy shirts and shorts). So he pantsed me, right? It took me a second to react, and when I did, I pulled my pants back up, and then speared my best friend (also the captain of the team) into the ground, and almost punched him straight in the jaw (I caught myself). This wasn't even the most embarrassing thing to happen. I overheard people talking. Remember how I wore a baggy shirt, and wore briefs? Well, this means no one saw my underwear. In fact, they saw nothing, so some assumed I was naked underneath my shorts. I heard people saying "There was nothing there" "Was he not wearing underwear?" It was horrible, and the worst experience of my high school life. The next part is said with absolutely zero exaggeration. When practice finally started (to this point, we were only stretching and doing light muscle work) I bolted on our course. It was an out and back day. We were supposed to run down this straight stretch of land that went a bit uphill, gradually, and get as far out in 20 minutes as we could and then race back as fast as possible. I ended up running my first sub 6 minute mile, and ended up running about 3.3 miles in those 20 minutes (the furthest anyone ran that day). I was so pissed off and upset, and disrespected that I didn't even notice any of the physical pain I probably should have experienced. The assistant coach, who is actually one of the top runners in the state had to really push himself to catch up to me (he expected a light workout that day, so it's not like I'm saying I was faster), to tell me to turn around, because I wasn't wearing a watch and had no one ahead of me (the fastest runner on the team had a watch and would have told me to turn around, but I ended up outpacing him). He caught up to me, told me to turn around, and on my way back, I come across my best friend, the guy who pantsed me, on the side of the road. He looks badly hurt, and I contemplate just leaving him there. I was still pissed off at him. I run for a few steps beyond him, turn around, and let me conscience take over. I pick him out of the ditch, and help him to his feet, I then decided to call off my race back, and went slowly with him to make sure he got back in one piece, because he's still my best friend. On the way back to the school, we decide to take a longer route, deciding 20-30 minutes would not be enough to hash out what happened that day. We spend the next 30 or 40 minutes talking about a few things, and how I felt disrespected. Then he told me he was shocked I could run as fast as I did, because until this day, I had only shown the talent level of a JV runner. He said that if I kept doing what I did today, that I would become the #1 or 2 runner on the VARSITY team, which seemed silly, because at the time, I was only the #3 JV runner (Our school has 7 Varsity runners, and 7 JV runners, the rest being on the practice team, so I was in essence, ranked #10). Of course, this all shocked me, but when I returned to the school and talked to the coach (who called me and my best friend in, hearing about the events) he echoed my best friends thoughts, and asked where all this talent had been the past few years. Eventually, we came to realize that when motivated, I'm a force to be reckoned with, but hitting that motivation is tough. Coach challenged me to keep using that feeling of being disrespected in every race, to see if I could keep getting better. The next week, I made Varsity (as the #5 runner). The week after, I became the #3 runner. I kept improving and improving. Every single race for the rest of the season I set a PR (Personal Record) which is apparently a ridiculous feat. I was still improving after my season ended. I ended up getting scouted by a division III college, and everyone in the conference I was a part of in High School, coaches, other runners, etc, wondered where I'd been and where I came from. I'm sorry the story was long, but I felt like the whole thing was needed. Basically, tl;dr, I got pantsed, and it was so embarrassing that I decided to do something so I wouldn't be embarrassed ever again. And I wasn't. I'll preface this by saying I wasn't a popular kid (I know, shock), but I am not sure I could say I was unpopular or disliked. Hahahaha yeah, that kindof happened to me actually. I liked a nice looking girl at age ten, and she like me until we were 13. . . Then I quite getting to see her because my parents stopped going to church. Well. . . . the years passed. And me having no options for marriage. . . .like. . anywhere, and Still liking this girl, I got to see her again at age 16. I was still infatuated, but I wasn't sure if the guy with her was a relative, or boyfriend. But something really bothered me. She had changed. She was no longer a nice girl, but, according to my mom, "A party girl". And, at that, she acted all hottie and stuff. Feeding my crush. I was so dissapointed. . . and after 3 days finally let go. It would be better for me to move on a find. . another girl. Later I saw her again at age 18. Funny how someone you'd consider a friend at age 10 and saw decently often can become a person you see only years at a time. She was with a different guy, black, and with curly hair. And well. . . . I wouldn't talk to her. And I decided that I just didn't care. I couldn't start a relationship with her if I wanted too. I had no car. I watched them kiss from a distance but decided to look away and just not care about. Why want something you can't have? Nope. Not for me! Later what did I find out? My sister had gone by to talk to her. That girl whom I liked remarked this: "Oh, there's (Sword legion) I remember liking him, but that was back when we were really young." A few weeks later, I found out that she was getting married. . . . . and had gotten pregnant. . . at 19. Too bad, but Oh well. I'm not hurt over it anymore. I want to say serves her right, cause it seems we really did like eachother, even at a young age. But eh, who knows. Young kids do dumb things. I'm glad I didn't end up with her. REALLY glad. legacyme3 : That started out as an embarrassment and ended up as very motivational. Good read.

Someday this month, I was trying to put a chair up on a table in one of my classes since students need to do that every day. My school supplies were in the way, so I make the stupid decision of trying to move them while holding the chair with my other hand. I couldn't move the supplies and I accidentally dropped the chair. It was very loud and people were making fun of me for doing that, acting as if I did it on purpose whereas they knew that I didn't. I explained to them what happened and that I would never do something like that on purpose so they would leave me alone. |

Sword legion : I agree with thephantombrain and I like how you turn an embarrassment into a life lesson. Very motivational and inspiring to find another better person in your life in the future. |

Well, it only took me three years of hanging on with zero contact, but yeah. And I'm glad that I did. ghostfishy : Thanks, but it's not really embarrassing to me. I'm glad you find it inspirational. In response to both of you, the only thing that ever get's me depressed in life is the fact that I have no options. It's not easy. I hope that got's looking out for me still. I do my best to keep his Torah and stuff, but sometimes it really gets you down. I mean. Really. It's like. . . looking forward and seeing no future. Quite bleakly. And people say, "Oh, it's nothing, you just have to wait." To me, love is perfect, or it's not worth it. I could not stand settling for less in a woman than one who would uphold certain standards. Including eating right and staying healthy. . . . . . okay thin. XD XD Finding a woman that matches in all necessary areas is not only a huge improbability because of my beliefs, I don't know why I'm posting this. The depression hits me from time to time. It's something that I can hardly stand. I mean. I want to get married. . . like the Talmud teaches at a young age, because that is how God designed it. I don't want to wait until I'm 30! Lighto : I believe the most embarrassing moment of my school life was in the 6th grade where my first crush asked me out my reply was among the thought of blah and random noises and finally "sure" then she laughed at me in front of the whole class and said "wow your such a loser I would never go out with such a fat lazy piece of ****" |

Well...,not to long ago...like 3-4 days ago , we had field trip to a hotel...and there were a lot of games over there , the teachers showed us around and we started playing one game at time, then it was bowling time( that hotel was amazing i wish i can live there XD ) back to the point,so i never played bowling before so i had no idea what to do ...then the teachers asked us to make groups of 3 and i was like "what" ? So as i saw every group well just go and play and one of the 3 people in every group well win, so yeah...i was the only person to not be in a group and i just watched them play for a while..then the teachers saw me and made me join there group ( the teachers had there own group ) and all the other students looked at me and they were like "what is she doing ? " and i was so embarrassed >///< . But wow...looking at what some of you posted..mine was not that bad XD . Oh god. I haven't done anything super embarrassing, but I feel for those who have. My worst moment in school (as thus far) is calling my US History teacher "Dad". It was really awkward and no one really laughed, which made it worse. The weird thing to me was that my dad and my US history teacher are nothing alike, literally. My dad is super conservative, my teacher liberal. They're just 2 very different people, and yet I called him "Dad". It was just really embarrassing. |

Oh jeez...the only thing I can remember that was embarrassing while I was in school is a very unpleasant story, so I'm warning you before you read on. Anyway, it was in 4th grade...one Friday afternoon in English class, we had a spelling test ( like we did every Friday for the most part ). I remember I felt dizzy when I woke up that morning, but my mom encouraged me to go to school anyway, since I didn't have a fever or anything like that. It was about an hour or so after lunch, and I do remember eating something rotten by mistake. So, in the middle of this test, I threw up everywhere around my seat, and it lasted for about five whole minutes. It was a very terrible, and obviously embarrassing experience for me. My friends called my "chunky" for the next couple of weeks before everyone eventually forgot about it. I know...its disgusting, I'm sorry. But it was also embarrassing. The good news is I haven't thrown up since then XD Anyway, it was in 4th grade...one Friday afternoon in English class, we had a spelling test ( like we did every Friday for the most part ). The only reason I'm posting this is because none of my real life friends go on this website xD. Okay, so I was in 6th grade, only 2 years ago, when my friend told me I should go up to my crush and ask her out as a joke. She already knew I liked her, because that same friend told her I liked her. I knew all this, that;s why I made the decision to ask her out as a joke. Realizing now, I really put her on the spot xD. She didn't know whether it was a joke or not so she said, "Ummm..." I told her it was a joke and she walked away knowing it was a joke and thought it was kind of funny. Not so bad, right? WRONG. Well, I was 12, so being the immature awkward thinking pre-teen I was, I decided to keep going. It was a joke that required courage to pull off and I had it. But, since I DID pull it off, it made me want more. I don't know where I was going with this, but considering the fact that she was my crush I think that gave me the motivation to do what I'm about to explain next. I decided to follow her around the playground (RECESS! Why don't I still have that ![]() I know this now: If you carry on a joke for too long, no one will take it as a joke. Even my friends thought it was real, and they witnessed me doing the joke. It was awkward for a couple of days but it gradually faded away. After that school year, she moved a state away and I still have her Facebook but we only talk every once in a while when I type hi to her. I saw her for a week this summer because she came back to visit, and she acted like she completely forgot about it because we talked like normal friends, so that's a good thing ![]() Hope you enjoyed my novel, and if you finished it, you can have a cookie ![]() Okay, so I was in 6th grade, only 2 years ago, when my friend told me I should go up to my crush and ask her out as a joke. Ha! This is one I will never forget... We used to have our lessons around one long table, and being a great student and all, I was always put right next to the teacher. He was a really sweet old man, but a true bore. Well, when one has a boring teacher, one tends to fall a I still look the other way when passing him on the street. This is one I will never forget...
