Sega or DC have never made it official who the fastest was, so I have always been curious. In my opinion, I think Sonic is the fastest because his hyper form from Sonic 3 And Knuckles is faster than is normal and super form.

I'm sorry to all you Sonic fans but both Barry Allen and Wally West have run faster than light on certain occasions, so I don't think a character that is repped at running at (and not even above for that matter) the speed of sound can even compare.
Plus Eggman can run faster than sonic in the first game anyway ;P

However Barry Allen or any other version of The Flash for that matter is able to go faster than light and go back in time. Light itself is mach 881,000. Flash is the clear winner here.
