First of all, let us not count you, the player. You, the player, technically speaking, are/can be the strongest Trainer in the games, as it is possible to train your Pokemon to Level 100. No in-game Trainer has Level 100 Pokemon (besides Battle Frontier Trainers depending on the rules you choose, but that does not count), and every person who plays is different, so let us exclude you, the player.

Putting that aside, the Trainer with the highest-leveled Pokemon in the entire video game series is Red (duh), with a Level 88 Pikachu! But I just discovered something a little shocking. You would think the Trainer with the second highest-leveled Pokemon in the entire video game series would be another Champion, right? Wrong! The first people who popped into my mind were Cynthia and Steven Stone, but this is not the case. Brace yourselves, everyone... The Trainer with the second highest-leveled Pokemon in the entire series, behind only Red himself, is none other than...

......

Barry, your rival in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum! Ba-dum!

Wow, who expected that? Well, I sure didn't! I know, I jumped, too. According to Bulbapedia, Barry's starter Pokemon is at Level 85, making it the second highest-leveled Pokemon in the entire series! I liked Barry; he was one of my rivals, actually! Still, his childish nature and tendency to bump into you a lot makes this a little hard to believe. Anyway, everyone, someone deserves a real applause here.

Huzzah for Barry! *Claps and throws confetti into the air*.

Do any of you have any interesting Pokemon facts to share? I'd love to hear them!

Originally, Pokemon Gold and Silver were supposed to be direct sequels to Gen I. They were advertised as Pocket Monsters 2 in Japan

I remember reading something about Clefable. Gengar is suppose to Clefable's dark shadow or something. They have similar body shapes and physical appearances like the ears and actual size. Since Clefable is a normal type Pokemon and Gengar is a ghost type Pokemon, they represent light and dark sides.
