So, recently, Smash 4 for 3DS has been released in Japan, and what we got is a demo. It's almost heaven, sorta... Well, I just tried it out, disappointing. Why? 5 characters only. Only a few options to mess with. 1 stage. Though I can say I like how they graced us with the ability to play with other SSB4 demo owners. But I mean come on Nintendo, you could've already sold the game here in the states, all you had to do is port over the Japanese version, translate a few names, maybe mess with the Netcode, patch stuff up, and bam, US version! Well, I can say the demo plays very good, and I haven't seen any issues yet, besides it mocking me with the locked out modes... The game runs smoothly, but it's just so crazy how there mocking us with all the other characters locked (stages too). I think Nintendo just got lazy. If there was more stuff to mess with, I'd be okay, but no.
I give the demo a 7.5/10. The game plays awesome, it's just the content is lacking. VERY LACKING.

Well, to be fair, it IS a demo. Regardless of what motives Nintendo/Hal Laboratory had, I wouldn't anticipate the demo to have more than a certain number of characters and stages. But still, you're lucky to play the demo (I haven't had the opportunity to). I also wouldn't worry, for it's probably a good indicator of what the game will be like when it comes out in a few weeks.

I agree with you on the point that we could of had our full version released already, I'm just going to lay it on that their just making sure they got enough cards ready for the release so stores don't run out too quick.

And as, it is a demo, but I agree there should be more content, as the full retail game isn't out yet (so it's not like they can even cram the "BUY IT NOW OR ELSE!" down our throats), and the fact that we get only 30 launches anyway, we should at least have 2 more characters and 1 more stage (but I do have to admit, the single and multiplayer in one demo is nice, we can smash our friends in the new smash, before its even out, and its not a closed beta!).

But what I hope they implement ( Nintendo: Pay attention here now.) is multiplayer between the demo version and the full version. It would be awesome when 2 friends want to play, but only got 1 copy, plus, after the demo runs short of launches, they would definitely know if it is worth it to get a second copy to keep playing.

(I hope there isn't someone on here actually called Nintendo, that would make me look stupid as I fail a fake summon.)

(EDIT: Well I guess there truely isn't someone named Nintendo here, thank god!)
