Luigi. He's afraid of ghosts, and still is as of today, even though he 'defeated' a mansion AND defeated King Boo, and is a wimp in general, obviously. So is Luigi just a sucky sidekick of Mario, or is he a really big [pardon my language] 'badass' that no-one knows about? For me, he's still sucky. Sorry Luigi, but nope, you will be a bad [skilled] character but will be one of my favorites still due to your wimpy personality.

Luigi is the best. I mean come on, he wears green (the best color), jumps higher, and is generally the comic relief of the pair. Mario takes things way too seriously anyway (and he gets scared too, he's just better at hiding it). How dare you insinuate Luigi is terrible, you should be ashamed. As punishment, you are required to play all of the Mario & Luigi RPG games back to back....not really a punishment, but deal with it, lol

Yeah, I will agree that Luigi is not as good as Mario, but I wouldn't say that he sucks. In my opinion, he is the funniest of the 2, and being scared of ghosts makes him even funnier. Luigi is still a great character.

All I am going to say is that mario is an attention hog, and that luigi is underrated. Sure he us a coward but he is taller, and he can jump 6 feet higher than mario. Plus he is a much better character in ssbb, and he has a much better final smash which isn't so easily avoided.

Mario is just short, fat and annoying, yet he gets all the glory and attention....

On the other hand, luigi is taller, thin, he can jump higher, and he is also kinder, despite being cowardly and clumsy at times.

Bottom line, luigi is way overlooked...

Super Mario 2 for NES is the easiest game in the world when you super jump with Luigi.  It makes half the game simple because you can skip by the dodging of the enemies and the timing the jumps on falling logs on waterfalls, etc.  You an even skip the other half the game because you power jump right by obstacles and get on top of things and run out the map.

Other games?  Meh.  He's not great but he's not terrible.

Wimpy doesn't necessarily mean bad. Luigi is the type of person to build his own courage and guts inside of him to make himself a better person while facing his fears and cowardliness. He's funny but kind as well with his personality. At least he isn't afraid to be himself and doesn't hog all of the glory like Mario. Plus I love Luigi's jumping abilities because I wish I can jump higher than what I can normally do.
