Well.. I guess I'm gonna talk about the future. I friends and I plan to make a huge castle with a statue of me, and my friends in it. It should look great when it's done. I think it's going to take about 3 months.

Well....I build a castle. Not something huge or anything. But it took me more than 5 months to finish and there were delays and laziness involved...so I would of got it done earlier.

A humongous cobble box.

I don't play minecraft often. And when I do, I usually play in creative mode.

I made a cobble box that was so big, I literally couldn't see one end of the cobble box from the other.

Probably I giant bank. It was a project I worked on for a while and it took about 3 weeks.

The longest part was smelting all the cobble to get smooth stone. Once I got about getting all the resources the build took a few days at most.

I put a bunch of villagers as tellers and made a safe deposit system and everything.

In Xbox 360 Minecraft, I built a house with a nice, small, pool, a huge stairway of chests (which was actually quite efficient and neat.), A glass overlook which had a ladder and trapdoor system that lead up to the top of a mountain, a nice, tidy, enchantment room hidden by the painting trick, a nether portal, lava garbage disposal, and wolf chamber (the last three in one room), a small room for my friend, and a stairway leading to a ravine/mine. Outside, I had a wheat/melon farm, archer's post, smaller house, and a trading outpost. In all, I spent months on that world. It was completely legit. Then? My little brother deleted it.

The most time consuming thing I ever build was a whole entire village. Not a small, 10 house village, but a whole darn empire. In fact, I am still not done. I started like January and I still have a small bit to go. I am making each house unique, inside and outside. No two houses are similar. I try to give them a personality if you will, like if there was actually someone living in it. I still have around 8 houses to go plus my own mansion/castle I am going to build of me to live in. (This is in creative, would be nearly impossible to do it on survival.)

MysteriousPanzer : If you need any advice, please let me know. It can be a little confusing at first and there are some maps we just cant have. You have to download a program and I cant remember its name off the top of my head. I know the maps you can move onto your xbox all need to be saved as .bin files.


maguc : That's really cool. I really am not that good with building unique buildings myself.

I did do something two maps ago concerning the actual villages. I was annoyed that villages don't spawn in snow biomes or mountain biomes so I got together with my friend and literally built 2 additional villages on my map. The one in the snow biome looked great too. I had mine carts set up and actually sent villagers from the generated villages to my built one. I then decided to put one more in one of my forest biomes that overlooked a river and that worked nicely too.

It was cool getting all of the villagers moved around the world too. I ended up putting up lots of doors and had villagers reproduce and went from two villages in the central area of my map to 5 all over the map full of villagers.

I built a sandstone cube in my first world on the ps3 version. It ended up being 50x51 and 60 cubes in height. I never finished because I had to reformat my ps3.

I don't usually build anything crazy big in survival mode. I usually build stuff in creative. The most time consuming thing I ever build in creative mode was basically just a big city. It took me about 2 weeks to completely build everything I wanted but I can always go back to it and continue building more and more buildings. I like to spawn villagers in it too :3

My biggest survival build is on the Xbox 360 Edition. I'm currently in the process of building a small entirely man-made island fortress. It consists of:

I'm also implementing several secret passages and other random things throughout it. It's not finished yet, but I've made a lot of progress.

My biggest creative build? I build a massive city over the span of about two years. It's not really pretty, but it's very in depth.

The biggest thing that I have ever built was a 100 block width by 50 block height Diamond Block house in Creative Mode. It took 3 hours to make.
