I thought I would take a moment to share some of the things I have created in Minecraft.  Keep in mind that I'm not a great builder, so most of my projects take only moderate skill or less to build.

Since I have the Xbox 360 edition of the game, I wasn't able to do a screen capture for my pictures.  As a result, I ended up using a hand held camera, and the pictures are of passable quality at best.

If people enjoy the pictures, I'll see about posting some more at a later time.

Picture #1
Daytime Batman Signal.

Picture #2
Night time Batman Signal.

Picture #3
Night time Batman Signal.  Was taking some of the following pictures when I saw it from this angle.  I liked it, so I took a third shot of it.

Picture #4
Roadside Inn between the primary town I created, and the third town that I have yet to start.  I was really happy with how this place turned out.

Picture #5
An interior picture of the Roadside Inn above.  This picture is of the common room just inside the front door.

Picture #6
Top-down picture of the work-in-progress primary town.  Top right corner is the city's castle, currently about 50% complete.  The large dark roofed building is the Tavern/Inn.  The lit up area towards the top left is the entrance to the rail system connecting the three settlements I plan to build.  The item in the middle right is one of the two windmills just outside of town, and most of the remainder of the picture is of the town and park.

Picture #7
The large work-in-progress bridge that connects the two continents I am building on.  To the right side of the picture is the Lighthouse near the town in the previous picture.

Picture #8
A slightly better picture of the lighthouse, with the back side of the two windmills mentioned earlier in the background.  To the right side of the map is the castle from the primary town.

Picture #9
Picture of the smaller bridge leading in to town.  The front of both windmills can be seen in the background with the lighthouse between them.  To the left hand side of the picture you can see the castle and town again.

Picture #10
A better picture of the bridge from the previous picture.  I thought that the windmill in the middle and the lighthouse looked better as well.

Picture #11
A close up picture of what I use to light my primary streets in the main town.

Picture #12
I picture of the lighted fountain that will be at the center of town once the town is completed around it.  Directly behind it, you can see the road and bridge leading to a small mansion and the harbor.  To the middle left, you can just see the entrance to the rail system.  And to the top right, you can see the edge of the Tavern/Inn in town.

I took about 20-25 more pictures that I'm not posting right now.  If people are interested in seeing more, the next set will include pictures of the Tavern/Inn and the castle interior.  The third set will include the under water town I've been working on along with a couple pictures of the rail system between them.  Who knows, maybe I'll throw in a picture of my work-in-progress Millennium Falcon from another world I've been playing around with!

Cant wait to hear what people think of my work!  I've put a lot of time and love into this world, and its still an early work in progress, over time, I hope it becomes something really special.  I hope everyone enjoyed the pictures!

GateKeeper_A :

Wow! I'm quite impressed, the only thing that I made that was really neat was my home castle, but I built it in survival mode, So I couldn't just go overboard, but I would like to show it to you sometime, thanks for sharing this!

Dark knight of the blackened sun. I am Sword Legion, one of many. My mask is thick, and my armor is strong. All the more necessary in a world such as this. . .

@Sword legion
Thank you for the kind words, I'm always a little self conscious of posting things like this, so it makes me feel pretty good knowing that someone enjoyed them.

Another set of pictures, again, these are from the primary city and the surrounding area from the world I shared the previous pictures from.

I discovered that I cant make two consecutive posts in a thread, so if people like my posts, they will have to post to let me know so I can post more! I took a lot more pics today of some of my work-in-progress worlds, I'll keep posting them a few at a time as time allows. How it stands right now, I have another 30-40 pictures to post before I have to start taking more, in the meantime, I'll just keep building!

Picture #1
Another top-down picture of the primary city.

Picture #2
A closer top-down picture showing the houses. The three incomplete buildings towards the top of the screen are going to be shops when complete.

Picture #3
A close up of one of the two windmills with the lighthouse at the middle left.

Picture #4
The front of the large Tavern/Inn. The fountain in the previous picture set would be just off the screen to the left, the three incomplete shops mentioned earlier are just beneath me when I took the picture, and the castle is to the right a short distance.

Picture #5
Interior of the Tavern/Inn, looking down into the tavern/common room from the second story balcony, the bar is right below me.

Picture #6
Another interior picture of the Tavern/Inn. This time from the first story, looking in the opposite direction. At the far side, you can see the bar and the front doors.

Picture #7
Another picture of the bridge leading into town. This time from ground level during the day. If I was a little higher, you would be able to see the windmills behind it again.

Picture #8
A picture of the harbor. This picture shows where I plan to build two smaller ships (One to each side of the wooden dock), and you can see several of the warehouses. Off the screen to the right is another, larger warehouse and the place I intend to build a large ship at some point.

Picture #9
The dining hall inside of the castle.

Picture #10
The small library. To the middle right is a door that leads to the guest rooms. And I'm currently standing on the stairs that lead up to the Royal Family's rooms.

Picture #11
The barracks. The door you can see leads directly to the castle walls, and to the left is a passage that leads to the main gates.

Picture #12
The King's chambers. Its still a little bit of a work-in-progress, but its functional and will be decorated as I think of new things to place in it. Each side of the room has a window. One overlooks the harbor, another overlooks the town, a third overlooks the castle, and the final one overlooks the ocean.

I'll post another batch of pictures once I get more replies. The next set will include the underwater settlement in this world along with a couple of miscellaneous pictures.

I see that quite a few people have taken the time to check out the thread (Even if I've only got one reply so far.) I hope that everyone is enjoying the pictures, and I'd love to hear people's thoughts and comments on them!

Eirinn : Glad you enjoy them.  I don't know that any single thing that I've ever built is really that impressive, but the size and scope of the projects make it appear that way at times.  I think the only two things in the most recent picture set that I was really pleased with was the windmill (Which I found a pattern for, then modified it slightly to look the way I wanted it to look), and the interior of the Tavern/Inn.

For example, the houses are just your standard 3x3 hovels, but when you walk down a street lined with them, it can be pretty neat (I'll have to take a street level picture at some point to show it from that perspective!)

A lot of what I build is inspired by other people's work.  Its not uncommon for me to do a random search for "Minecraft Bridges" or "Minecraft House" then use something that I like as a visual starting point for many of the buildings and other landmarks I make.

Thank you for the kind words and compliments, it makes me happy to know that you enjoy the pictures.

Wow, some of those creations are amazing. It amazes me how dedicated some people can be when it comes to Minecraft creations. Whenever I build something big I usually get friends to help me but by going by what I read you did this all by yourself! I don't mind about the camera either, we can still easily make out what they are and, in a way, the smudged lighting is cinematic and actual makes some pictures look better,

Though for future reference if you ever want to post more creations there is already a thread where you can share your creations.

I noticed you had the last post in that thread. Maybe I have to show off something of mine to give you space!

Since we don't need a dedicated thread to your creations, due to the sticky thread, I'm going to close this one.

Keep the good work up!
