Indeed the legends are true it is i the great and oh so powerful relinquish,And i can now continue Pokemon reviews,Oh wait a moment would you?

I AM BACK,And i swear to god i will be better than ever,I am going to streamline the way i do reviews so they can be more entertaining,for one thing i am going to streamline the moveset portion bye not always telling you what the moves do,But by giving you my thoughts on it,2.Less characters in reviews-

*MOVESET*

At the start we can get...oh Jesus christ why? Okay if you get an Aerodactyl at level 1 you can get..alot of moves,i don't have the patience to give a description of all of them,But i will give you my thoughts on them.

Iron head..sure.
Ice fang...yes.
Fire fang.yes.
Thunder fang.yes
Wing attack...screw it,Its not terrible.
Supersonic,NO.
Bite..once again not terrible,But there are much better moves.
Scary face.....no...you freakin moron.

And that's that,By the way uh...all of these moves are random,Meaning the level 1 Aerodactyl that you have will have 4 out of 8 of these moves...good luck trying to get the good ones.

Roar.LV9:...no.

Agility.LV17: Agility gives the user a speed boost by 2 stages,Effective in competitive play...not so much here.

Ancient Power,LV25: Ancient power is a good move because it provides a healthy base damage of 60 and that is coupled with 100% accuracy,Also..we have its signature ability,This move comforts the user with a 10% chance of raising all stats except for accuracy by 1 stage,Freaking AWESOME,Take this move.

Crunch,LV33: OH YES,MY BABY, DADY HAS RETURNED,Crunch is one of my favorite moves because it has a base attack damage of 80 and provides 100% accuracy,Also this dark type moves provides the user with a 20% chance of lowering the targets defense by 1 stage..awesome,TAKE IT USE IT LOVE IT,YES I LOVE SAYING THAT LINE.

Take Down,LV41: Take Down,A freaking classic,This move has a base attack damage of 90 and has 85% accuracy.However, well...i think Fullmetal alchemist said it best-

"Human kind can not gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value must be lost. "

Thank you FMA,Aka this move takes 1/4 of the users health as payment,A risky move but an effective one,I don;t like recommending it to everyone,But this moveset is a bit poor and its all we got,So if you do take it use it wisely.

Iron Head,LV57: This move has a base attack damage of and has 100% accuracy And has a 30% chance of making the target flinch,Awesome sauce take it,Although i am not that much of a fan of steel type moves.

Hyper beam,LV65: The strongest move of gen 1 has returned,This move has a base attack damage of 150 and has 90% accuracy,However after the user will have to wait a turn to recharge,Once again i am more of a fan of moves that can get damage out fast enough,And as you will see soon i don't exactly believe this guy can take alot of hits,But if you want this move go ahead,But i do not recommend it.

Rock Slide,LV73: This move has a base attack damage of 75 and has 90% accuracy,Also this move has a 30% chance of making the target flinch,Very good move take it.

Giga Impact,LV81 Alot of people like to call Giga impact a physical version of hyper beam,And its hard to disagree,This move has the same damage and accuracy as hyper beam,and has the exact same effect,AKA recharge time,Everything i said about hyper beam...Apply it here


*STATS*

Hp,80: Now i must admit i did expect...a little more from this stat,But i won't be picky,This is a decent stat.

Attack,105: NOW WE HAVE SOMETHING GOOD,This stat is insanely powerful,All you need to do is get some tm's And abuse the crap out of it,This is a good stat,Have a blast guys.

Defense,60: Ugh...seriously...why,Its not to bad but i suppose the attack stat did take up alot of points,However i suppose if we have a decent speed stat that defense won't matter to much.

Sp.ATK,60:...Okay its bad but at least it has a reason to be bad,And that's its attack stat,Which is awesome and completely makes up for. this stat.

Sp.Def,75: Alright nice try Aerodactyl,I appreciate you trying to make up for your defense stat,Even though this does not exactly cut it,Nice try.

Speed,130: Yep...this really makes up for the defense stat,Now in my testing experience this stat and the attack stat is by far the most effective,So don't let this go to waste my friends.

Alright now for weaknesses,well this guy has...5 of them...christ,Those are water electric ice steel and rock,Alright the good news is 2 out of 5 of these are not common(Steel and ice) Water electric and rock will be your main problem, now i am going to tell you how to get past these,As for water well that should be rather simple,All you need is a grass type and or a electric type,Electric types are somewhat hard to find,But grass types will be easy,Electric types simple.All you need is a rock type,And in literally EVERY POKEMON GAME EVER,there is a cave you can go to before you face the first gym,Which is sure to be full of at least 1 rock type.Rock will be the easiest to get rid of,Just get a fighting type or a water type or a grass type,Ice and steel however will be a bit hard to defeat,really all that will work and all you will be able to find are fighting and fire types,Just get one of those and you should be fine.

As for training well...this Pokemon takes a long time to train,So i hope you are prepared for this thing.


*TMS & HMS RECOMMENDATIONS*

Fly: Fly is a good move because its provides a bit of an escape from the a.i,And gives decent damage.

Earthquake: For those who don't know i love earthquake,Why..? Because it is extremely powerful and has basically no downside,Take this move and make it your main attack move,Its not used for any specific person its just used to cut Pokemon down.

Rock slide: By by ice types.

Swagger: swaggers confuses the target but raises there attack power,This is a very good move if your in trouble,But DO NOT ABUSE IT,You will kill yourself if your not careful..or faint whatever.

As always if you guys have any suggestions just tell me,Seriously it really helps me improve.


*Gyms Rivals & Elite 4*

Rivals : OH rival,Okay once again if you guys get an Aerodactyl at level 1 like i did-Oh screw it why am i saying that? there's no way to obtain one that without breeding or hacking,Anyway Aerodactyl,AT FIRST,Might have a bit of trouble with your rival,But by the time he gets to level 20 it should get easier,And overtime if your Aerodactyl is backed up with a good team,It should be a breeze.

Gyms: Yeah uh...you might have some trouble here,Granted most of the time you will be able to outrun most of the gyms Pokemon,And that slim little bit of time will be enough for you to deliver a fatal blow,But when your luck runs out...man you are going to take a beating.

Elite 4: Should you take this Pokemon to the elite 4...maybe,Its got its flaws but it can win,I promise that you can win,Just don't expect to win on the first time,And don't expect to win so easily.

Relinquish: What..? OH yeah i am not doing trainers anymore,I say the same thing every single time,They just suck.


Tips

1.Give this Pokemon a healing item that can heal in 1 burst,Not something like leftovers that can heal overtime.

2.As much as i bash on this Pokemon's stats...i don't recommend EV training it,there good enough on there own,No need to disrupt there balance

3.Train...alot because this Pokemon takes a LONG time to level

Final thoughts:

Man guys...This is just the Pokemon i needed to get myself back into reviewing Pokemon,Because its not to good,Its not to bad,its just perfect,And no i don't mean that its the greatest Pokemon ever,I don't mean that its a diamond hidden in the rough,Its just fun to use,and balanced.

The moveset is rather lacking and a bit dull considering the rate you get moves feel odd,And you don't have many good ones at your disposal.

Stat's may feel bad sometimes,But really there pretty balanced and i really don't recommend changing anything,
This Pokemon can learn a decent array of tm's and hm's and i recommend using them alot,As they will make up for the rather dull moveset.

This Pokemon is pretty good against the a.i most of the time,Especially once you get to level 30,And the elite 4 will be a challenge,But if you are determined with the Pokemon i assure you,That you will win.

Honestly...This Pokemon feels like an upgraded version of absol,In a flying type form,And if you compare the 2,I believe that you will find it a bit hard to disagree especially if you compare the 2 by stats,overall i recommend Aerodactyl to people who want to have fun with it,But are also serious and determined enough to train it,AKA its for fans of the Pokemon,This thing has its ups and its down,But its a nice addition to your party,Especially if you can actually get your hands on one,So if you really want this Pokemon on your team,Go ahead and use it,However it does not exactly earn the agent of awesomeness badge.

2.i would also suggest-crobat,As the two are very similar in many respects.

3.And finally i would love to point you towards a very powerful Pokemon known as-Tyranitar

For Pokemon i suggest you pair this guy up with i would go for

1.Blastoise,Blastoise is a very good addition to most teams,as it is a very stable and solid Pokemon

2.Gigalith is a very effective tank,But just like this Pokemon,He has many weaknesses 

3.And finally-Ampharos,As it is a VERY effective defense against your weaknesses.
