So, we need to id him/her from the pool of participants. I'd suggest asking our first question with the goal of eliminating suspects, because it's easier to find a needle in a haystack if you've eliminated part of the haystack. I hope that makes sense, lol.

Any ideas on questions to ask?

Perhaps something along the lines of his/her gender? Age group?

I think those questions would kinda ruin the game... We'd eliminate a lot of players right at the start.
Can the killer lie and give a wrong answer?

OOC: I guess this post is over due, suspect me or not it's your choice, but even in mafia I didn't bother posting much, nor do I post on the board too terribly much in and of itself. So it's really your choice, much like everything in this game is. I only hope you make the right one whichever that may be.

I'm Alex, I don't want to die, I don't want to lose this and I want to keep as many of us alive as possible. I say the best option is narrowing down the murderer as quickly as effectively as possible with a calm and clear head.  That being said I strongly agree with the whole gender idea simply because I was thinking of it myself as the first question to ask, chances are it's a male which leaves the majority of us, but on the off chance that some lady somewhere became the murderer it will be narrowed down quickly.

In all seriousness, I'm sad that we didn't get a question in. We need more participation!

Of course, if I totally missed something and we've gotten a question in then that last sentence can be ignored.

OOC: If anyone else is new and clueless, like me, participation will pick up as things go on. Surely there are rules to the kinds of questions we can ask, though, so someone who knows what they're doing is gonna need to take charge and start the discussions during the early part of the game.

I find it unusual that the killer isn't allowed to lie in this mystery yet in any other mystery, they're always lying....

Furret, how can you suspect anyone specifically at this point? That's quite aggressive, imo, which is possibly a sign of a murderer. Just sayin, I'd snag some evidence. I'm not saying don't suspect me, I'm just saying you're a target of suspicion without proof.

Everyone was still introducing each other, and some people stood there, silent and shy. Until, legacyme3 realized that yesterday was the due date for the question. He exclaimed "Everyone! The time for talk is over, we have forgot to give his question for his game." and as he announced this, not only did everyone gasp in one cliche fashion, he noticed one person is missing. He went to the Living Room/Fireplace where the murderer put his notes, there was a new one.


You missed the deadline, people. I'm disappointed you focused on introductions than a question. There are consequences for not following my game rules. Look up.

As they read the note, everyone looked up at the stockings, as maguc's decapitated head was hung with the least amount of care. They continued reading as it said...

How many people do I have to kill to have you people to play my game? Let's try this again. You have until January 3rd of the new year until your question is due. Don't make me take another innocent friend.
And now is the time to take the game seriously. This guy really is a murderer.

For the majority, we're a group of intelligent people with very different taste, so it shouldn't take much to single out the murderer with questions of taste.

For example, we could ask what the murderer's favorite game is, what their favorite band or food is, that way we'd get some specifics that are lying around amongst us in here.

He's clearly not pleased that we didn't play along from the start. And by the drippjngs of magucs head on the ceiling, we really should keep up to date on here.

Favorite game~ Everyone would automatically pick ace attorney. If they don't though, that could get us decisive evidence.

Favorite food~ I highly doubt interesting information will come out of that.

Favorite band could work. 


And poor maguc. Your death shall be remembered.

Favorite game wouldn't work. Too many kinds of games exist. Same with favorite food and band. If our goal is to catch the murderer quickly we need to ask him something that'll clear a lot of people at once.
