Anybody here remember this piece of work?
It was every boys dream here back in the bad old eighties. Most kids had one or sometime later NES. Or both. I was the only kid in my village who had Atari ST which was maybe a bit more advanced but Commodore had more games in it and it had a total different feel to it. Just trying to load a game to play was an adventure in it self. I remember how I used to go visit a friend, we would put some game to load and we would go outside to play and come back later to check out if the game was ready to be played. Sometimes it would fail and we would just retry and go out and do something else again. (It could take up to 30-60 minutes to have the game to work, kiddies!)
Because the games were on cassette tapes, most people had only pirated games. To be honest, I never saw an original game for Commodore that was bought from a store.

This here was my bad boy in entertainment, I didn't have all those add-ons but got the pic just to show it off. Everyone had an Atari but this bad boy was fun as all and the graphics are a little better. Donkey Kong Jr. and Miner 2049 were my favs check'em out in the RGR.  It is a colecovision by the way.

Brigand :  Aaaww yeah! Wil I ever forget.  The keyboard with the cassette player.  I still can't figure out how a cassette tape materialized onto a tv screen.

fightorace :  Man that thing looks like it's been grinded off a 1956 VW Beetle dashboard XD

You ever had fun trying to play a game cassette in a normal tape player? Oh the sounds it made...
