Hey guys so as you know sonic 06 aka sonic the hedgehog for the 360 and ps3 one thing that gets on my nerves is that people are saying that sonic 06 is the worst game ever well sonic 06 was meant to be released in 2007 and sonic team rushed Sega to have the game out by Christmas on both systems giving Sega very little to no time to fix all the glitches that the game has so everyone has no right to hate sonic 06 its not segas fault its sonic teams fault i created this to stop people from hating on sonic 06

Well it doesn't matter whose fault it is. If the game sucks, then the game sucks. And I agree, the game is pretty bad. If it wasn't ready to be released, then they should not have released it.

I agree, It's not Sega's fault. It's the Fans fault For making them rush the game.

Ovbiously. The point of this thread is kind of pointless.   You can't stop people from posting there opinions, The game is gonna continue being a hated gem for long as it lives. But I will say something postive  and that is: it's not the worst sonic game ever made, That right goes to sonic labyrinth for the game gear. XD.

I finally get it... there were some glitches in my play through of sonic heroes, but it wasn't all bad. What happened that changed 06 was the extreme backdrops in a natural setting. It's like a knuckles level from adventure 2 sometimes with sonic running physics. He keeps running around into more terrain and glitching up. But yeah, most of it was rushing it, just that if they were gonna rush they should've gotten rid of most of the background and make it simpler and more straight forward

You know, I watched the walk though to the game long ago. I knew I was not getting the game. I didn't know about it before. because I stopped playing, sonic games years ago. When I saw this, I wasn't really happy with what I saw. The storyline was not good at all. The only thing I like about it, was the soundtracks. I really liked the soundtracks to the game. I think that was the only good thing about it.....I didn't even know the fans rushed it, if they had waited. Maybe the game wouldn't be as bad is it is now.....

I think to my opinion on why Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 was so horrible is I think the game was completely rushed and on what you guys said, it's the fans that caused the game to be ruined, they need to realized that's it's better to wait and get a better game than wanting it now and get a pretty bad game, so that's why Sonic 06 was a bad game in the whole series. Having patients is the key for a great game so the developers can work on the game and see if they think if something is wrong, and if they do, they're correct it, but that was a mistake, letting the fans have it early without correcting those mistakes.

Yeah I agree with igorbird, it is the team's fault because they rushed to get it in for christmas to make a lot of money off of it and it was filled with horrible glitches. I think it would've just been best to take more time with it rather than rush it and make it a poor quality game. In this case, they wanted quantity over quality by rushing to get it in for christmas.

I just think it would've been better to wait a little bit longer but have a higher quality game, then to rush and get a game full of glitches for christmas. But that is just my opinion on the matter.

I have never played the game before, but I think it is the sega team's fault for rushing it and making the game receive negative feedback.

Because it was not the reboot that the Sonic franchise needed. It was still the same basic 3D sonic gameplay that everyone had seen before, and had many bugs and glitches. I don't think that the game deserves all of the hate that it gets, however. It's not a terrible game. Just not a great Sonic game. Personally, I think Sega needs to make a full-fledged classic sidescrolling Sonic game once again. It's what everyone wants.

Really, the game was rushed out before it was ready. That's a shame, seeing it could have ended up as a good game if they gave it time. But that doesn't mean people should like it just because. It's a published game, and is just as good to criticize as any other games. The glitches and bugs aren't the only problems with the game also. Some game play, especially Silvers, seems very dull and slow paced. Which I don't really think many Sonic fans would enjoy.

The game also had a large amount of story problems.. Such as plot holes and just plain bad writing. These might not have been fixed no matter how long the game had to be finished. The graphics also really struck a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.. I mean, more realistic Eggman? I admit, some people might have liked them, but the models in cutscenes didn't even seem that great to me. Suppose it's all based on opinion though. I just have a hunch that even with extra time, the game still would have had story problems and maybe even some problems with how the characters look.

It's not that the game sucks in a bandwagon thing, it just sucks in everything it stands for. Having Sonic in a human angle was NOT a good idea, and was never brought back since this game for a reason. Not only does the story suck, the game feels unfinished. It's pretty broken with glitches and stiffness. It just isn't natural.

I really like sonic, it was one of my favorite games for my system and it's characters are so cool. I don't know why it gets so much hate. I mean it is not perfect but it is a good game lol. I still play it a lot to this day.
