Well...looks like a new month is coming up, which means....NEW MONTH FOR BIBLE TRIVIA!!!! Welcome to the June Edition of the Vizzed Bible Trivia Contest!!!! I'm back for some more Bible Trivia fun. There are a couple of changes compared to the April Edition. Here they are:

1. I've increase the prize to 30,000 Viz.
2. I will only be making questions from Monday - Saturday, not Sunday. (Read the rules thread for details)
3. Each person will now have 2 slings and are in effect in the beginning of the contest.

With these rule changes, you should know that the competition starts on June 3rd this month. I hope that you all can promote this competition to other people and I hope there will be some super awesome competitiveness going on around these parts. This thread will be pushed to the sticky threads once the April competition is over.

*Gasps* I didn't know there would be another one!!! AWESOME!!!!!!  I loved loved LOVED the last one, so I'm definitely looking forward to another.  YAY!!!!!

By the way, whatever happened to the 50 Viz per day thing on the last one?  Or am I just mis-remembering?   I don't need the Viz... just curious if something happened to that, or if my memory was being faulty.

Could you please explain the purpose of the sling?  I didn't know what
it's effect was or how to use it in the last competition so I simply did not
do so.

P.S.  Thank you so much for restarting the trivia competition.  I'm
very much looking forward to it.  Also, my offer to help with writing
questions still stands in case you become overburdened or would simply
like a little assistance.

play4fun : My knowledge of the bible is, mediumish. In that I know more than most, but not as much as some of the people here. I will compete if that's alright, but my chances of winning are limited.

play4fun : my knowledge is mediocre, at best. I have as good as a chance as I did last month. I want to do this to see just how much I remember.

Edit: I got it wrong. None of them sounded familiar to me, so I guessed ,and got it wrong. The one I kinda expected ( my 3rd choice ), was the right answer. >.<

Light Knight is seriously running away from everyone while the defending champion Surgiac is struggling to stay afloat in the positives. Newcomer ender44 came right into the top by using moving into 3rd place so far, but it is still early in the game. Remember everyone has 2 slings to use, so be sure to use them wisely. Everyone seems to remember John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." but not everyone understand it correctly because they don't look at the context. Some use it to promote Universalism (that everyone will be saved in the end) or safe promiscuity from judging (since God forgives you of your sins, you can do whatever you want or sin without having to worryor to change), when all of these can be slammed just by looking at the next couple of verses. thing1 : Well, this one I grade a little differently and partial credit is more likely.

This is just a suggestion:  This question would have been a lot less
frustrating if you had listed the books in the question in addition to
having them in the drop-down menus.  I wasted a lot of time on this
question because I would select something too quickly, get some
in order, and then have to move them up or down after noticing a book
I had overlooked.  Perhaps this is just me being sore that I didn't do
well, but I do think this would help.

alr256 : Oh, you are going to beat yourself up so badly about this....I DID list out the 6 books that you need to order in the question. I knew it was going to be an issue to do drop-down menus without seeing the whole thing, so I posted all the books in the question part of the page. It sounds like you didn't read the question completely. 

I think he wanted the books' names in the part before the question started so he could be sure of their order before the timer started.

Surgiac : I don't think he is talking about that, but it is, then the time limit is pointless. The whole point is to be able to recall or reason through the order within a limited amount of time. Just putting it in the page before the question would give anyone unlimited time to sit down and think about the answer, not to mention if there are untruthful competitors, they can easily cheat by looking up the order.

Hmm... I guess I must have missed it.  Oh well, these things keep me
humble I guess.

P.S.  Good questions so far.  I like both the level of difficulty and variety.

Is there anyone that has the time to get this up and running again?  I think I could have the time to do it... the only issue is that I am NOWHERE near as creative or knowledgeable as play4fun is.  However, I greatly enjoyed this game and have been sad to see it go.  I think it was a great 'regular' to the CC forum.

play, would you mind letting someone else take over?  I know how busy and stressed you've been, but we need to give this forum a big old kick in the butt!
