With me, I really like using cheats for some games, mostly the GTA games, but normally, I use cheats after I have finished the game, just for the fun of it.
What about you, you use any cheats for games?

I refuse to use cheats in games as I will not learn anything whilst playing it. There have been times when I have been tempted, but never have I actually done it and I never will.

Depending on what game it is and for what system it is decides for me if I use cheat codes or not. For example on Xbox360 I don't use cheat codes at all because for most of their games if you use cheats then you wouldn't get any achievements for the game. But for games on the Ds and game boy advanced(yes I still have one and a game shark for it) then yeah I'll use cheats just because it makes the game more enjoyable for me.

Not anymore. I used to with games I had a hard time with (Cool Spot, Sonic 2). But since the PSX era, it looks like they don't exist. Anyway, there are FAQs, so cheats seem useless

If I honestly cannot figure out how to beat the game without them, then I will.

Otherwise, I don't really use them unless they are given to me.

I only use cheat codes after completing a game. I also use cheats that don't require codes.

No, I used cheat codes a couple of times back in the day, but not anymore because games just aren't fun anymore if you cheat and you lose that feeling of accomplishment which is why I quit a long time ago. 

dracomaster : That's how I am, it's less fun to cheat during the game because it gets too easy and didn't accomplished anything, but when I complete the game, I can just use cheats (mostly in free-roaming games) just for the fun of it.

The only 2 reasons why I use cheat codes is
1.)After I have completed the game, I want to make the game more fun
2.)I have no other option because the game is just simply to hard.
This happens to very few game I play because I usually will get stuck, leave the game for a while, come back to it and finally find out what to do. On the other hand, after I finish a game, I go onto the interwebs and look up cheats for the game. For example: say I beat super mario world and I want to spice up the game a little. That is the only two reasons why I would do that because going through the whole game while invincible is pretty stupid to me. 

After i beat the game sometimes, but never first time through the game.

Okay, I almost never use cheat codes on games, and never until im extremely experienced with that particular game. the only games I remember using cheat codes are mario kart ds.( throwing blue shells on everyone was really fun) and pokemon, just for the heck of it.

What's the fun if you use cheats on story mode?

Yes, I can beat the game without using cheats but if there are secret codes for extra cool features or to unlock something then I use it, but most of the time I use cheat codes at the end of a video game because I can beat it pretty easy without having to use them. Sometimes though if there is a game that is really big like a Lego one and there a whole bunch of characters that are hard to get, then I may enter a cheat code to get them. But I don't really think that is considered cheating because it doesn't help me complete the game or anything. Sometimes I might add cheats to change things up and make the game more challenging and interesting. But I don't use cheats to beat the game, I use them to unlock special things in the game. There are just some games that are fun and if cheats were used it would just either kill the fun of the game altogether, or it would make it not as challenging or fun.

Yes and No. I'll have multiple attempts at the game and if I don't succeed after all, I may use a cheat or a code. But, after I complete the game with cheats and codes enabled I reset the game and play without cheat codes to get all the achievements!
