I doubt it.

Go to NASA's webpage. It's not on the front pages and in all the news media like it would be if it were true. A search on "alien life california" turns up nothing past an article written 3 years ago on the "new life" found in a Californian lake. This microorganism was blown wildly out of proportion by the media, claiming it was some groundbreaking new form of life, when it was just an organism that was using arsenic in its DNA in the place of phosporous. That is certainly interesting, but listening to some media outlets going on, you'd think the entire definition of life had been turned on its head. Which it hadn't. The article you've linked to is a perfect example of ignorant people trying to exaggerate matters to suck in readers. It's only source is a livestream on the NASA page which shows nothing they promised.

EDIT: Reread the article a little more carefully. They put "alien" in quotations because it isn't actually an alien. Like I said, it's a microorganism that uses arsenic instead of phosphorous. Interesting, but not nearly as groundbreaking as they make it seem. We've known for many years now that life can live in extremely harsh environments and use unusual substances, like in deep sea vents. This is a logical continuation of that. Also the article is from 2010. I think it's safe to say that if an actual alien had been discovered, we'd have heard more about it by now.

Yeah. I think I'll go with Traduweise here,
If it did then it would be on NASA's own site.

Anyway the internet will always have speculation, don't believe it unless it was officially posted.
