I remember playing the Golden Sun series on the Game boy Advance and always enjoyed the story line of the game and decided to make it the first review I ever did on the website. The Game play is pretty easy to get use to you choose commands for your people to do like Attack,Psyenergy (magic),Defend, and use items. The story line is great and follows right when the first one left off at where the Venus Lighthouse is lit and the Ground breaks off making Felix and Jenna stuck on a floating Island where there story begins, There main objective is to light all the light houses so it places you in the shoes of Isaac's friends side unlike the first one where you are trying to stop them on this one you are lighting them. Only thing that was annoying was trying to find all the Djinn because without them your character's would be pretty weak but they made up the man hunt with you fighting and beating them to join your team. The Graphics I will say were good as they can be for the Game boy Advance was back then nothing really major it seemed I saw that was bad. The Difficulty wasn't to bad really was pretty easy when it came to defeating monsters and bosses but it made it much easier when you got your Djinn's to help you fight and make you more powerful.

I loved Golden Sun, and yes indeed without Djinns, you would be at a disadvantage. Depending on which one you used and all also changes the Psy you can use within and outside of battle (within mostly). Good story and loved the puzzles in there as well. XD
