I'm actually going to go with Weedle, Spearow, & Geodude.

I think Beedrill will be a better attacker but Butterfree has more variety.

I think Spearow & Pidgey would've made a better comparison but I think Spearow is a better attacker than Pidgey & it can learn Drill Peck.

Geodude has great physical defense & a ground type to deal with pesky electric types. *couh* Pikachu *cough*

Just remember, if you're playing on the emulators in this site. Your Geodude will evolve into a Graveler and always stay a Graveler because it needs to be traded to evolve and you won't be able to trade on these emulators.
May I suggest that you pick up a Mareep later on (it's outside of Violet City once you get your first badge). The fluffy little guy becomes a great (albeit slow) mixed (go for a special set though) attacker who is actually pretty bulky.
