I love a lot of Pokémon so naming a favorite is really hard to do. I'd have to say It'd be Eevee considering how cute the small normal type is. Plus while Eevee itself is cute it can become several awesome Pokémon. Close second Is Charizard though, gotta love the destructive power that large lizard Pokémon has.

My favourite Pokémon is definitely Bulbasaur.

Bulbasaur is a starter I usually pick when he's available. I love starting the game with him. He learns Leech Seed at level 7 and Vine Whip at level 10 and Sleep Powder at level 15. With these early options for carefully weakening potential captures, I cannot go wrong. Bulbasaur also cannot be poisoned the way the other starters can being a part poison type himself.

Due to Bulbasaur's typing, I can easily bring him to bear against both Brock and Misty. Misty gets easier if I allow him to evolve to Ivysaur but I usually prefer to make him stay a Bulbasaur for a little longer because of how sweet he looks.

Also, if you see the Anime, there is Ash's Pikachu in which it has a good personality and quite strong. It is a good Pokemon to catch and you can also evolve with the Thunderstone to get a bigger and better Pokemon, Raichu.
