bombchu link : Okay so I watched the trailer video and the update one and I am going to peruse the channel here in a moment to see if there is any other kind of update video or something of the sort, but I wanted to know if you knew when this was going to be finished? I'm stoked to try it out, URA Zelda has been something I have wanted to play for a really long time now and to see someone is working on bringing it to the world is completely mind blowingly awesome! I was also kind of curious about something else, since we now live in the age of Internet and advance technology (not as advanced as many of us would like) how come the actual URA Zelda (or Zelda 64 and Zelda Gaiden) haven't leaked out onto the Internet yet? You would think someone working for Nintendo would be like "yeah people are going to want to play this", and send it out somewhere.

XxEzraxX : Here is the thing, Nintendo want's to make money, not go back to an outdated system and make the 64DD and re-print the N64 in the process, It is illogical and not worth it. (though I see no probles releasing it for the 3DS form of the game) As for hackers hacking has advanced X10 in the past 5 years alone (really, no kidding, we know the way games work better then ever) If you look at Sonic hacks you will see that they are all post 2008 and most have came from 2010 and above. and if you still don't believe me Youtube Sonic Generation Hacks. The Zelda URA teams members are profesional hackers and knew that this would be a daunting task, and it is reasonable to assume that 5 years is enough time to get a group to construct the project. And after the switch from the OoT engine to the MM engine and the addition of the three day cycle without the moon crash (it just resets back to day one) this will be a complex game.
