Well,we don't have Netplay for the plugin, so no. Unless we get enough money to add Netplay, we can't trade Pokemon with other people playing the game. There might be someone in the game though that will trade you Machoke for a certain Pokemon

There is a person in Pokémon Yellow who will trade a machoke(evolves immediately after trade) for a cubone.

starwars293 is right and wrong. You can't trade with other players. However, Netplay will not solve that. Netplay is currently in it's Beta test, it turns out that it does not work for the portable systems like Game Boy. The reason why is because multiplayer using those systems is done differently than something like NES, SNES, etc. Those systems play multiplayer on the same console just by having 2 controllers. The portable systems like Game Boy and GBA can only play 2 player with 2 systems linked together via connection cord. It turns out that form of coding just doesn't work with emulators. So even when we have Netplay, the portable systems will still not have multiplayer, meaning no trading Pokemon. If you want to catch them all, you will have to play a hack version of the game that makes them all accessible without trading with another player.

I will close this since the question has been answered.
