Fire Emblem Thraki 776 translaed doesn't work with VSNES

A while back I said I tried VSNES with Fire Emblem: Thraki 776 with VSNES. I discovered that the problem isn't java or anything: I can load other games very well. It says it loads the game and the emulator starts. As the game would normally load, I just have a black screen. The emulator menu can still be accessed though. Can somebody fix this please? I know it would be easier to download RGR plugin, but I can't due to extreme downloading restrictions.

The cause is more than likely due to the Java emulator not being able to emulate the translation patch. The original Japanese game might work on it though.
