Jawbreakers, yay!

Ahh... Cartoon Network... If you lived the 90's you should at least heared a bit of it. One of the most awesome cartoon channels back in the day... With great shows like: Johnny Bravo (one of my favorites, the mexican dub helped a bit on that), The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Courage: The cowardly dog, Cow and chicken, I'm Weasel... And my favorite: Ed Edd n Eddy! One of the most suceful CN shows (and one of the most longest)

The mis-adventures of this trio of teenagers and his scams made my afternoons for years ... If you're a true fan, you should know that they had a Video game for the GBA: Ed Edd n Eddy: Jawbreakers!. Which was relased in the 2003 by Bam! Entretainment and was depeloved by Climax... Now, let's take a look to it:

History: The Eds are enjoying another morning of their Summer... Well, at least Double D and Ed are doing that. Because Eddy claims that he's bored... When Jimmy (the Kid with the branches) appers, and tells that the Candy store is giving to all the kids of the neighbor Red tickets. Why?... Well, The kid with the prized ticked will win a box with the Ultimate Jawbreakers... If you eat one, you will never need to eat another. (If one it's enough... Why the heck they're gifting a box?) Of course, The Eds run to candy store to get some tickets... But, they find out that the store has gifted all... Then, Eddy has another of his "Brilliant Ideas", this time, get the Tickets of the other kids...

Not a bad story, I think that it would be perfect for an episode of the show... It fits perfectly! (8/10)

Graphics: Aren't bad... But, I think that the charaters look a bit pixelated than the rest of the graphics. Anyways... At least they had good animations... The Eds even had the same Running animation of the show!... The backgrounds are okay... Just like they appear in the show... With strong colors and few details... (7/10)

Sound: Not bad, In fact I like the music... It sounds like if it were a mix between the Music of a game for the Original Gameboy game and a game for the Sega Genesis, Bit without losing the music style of the GBA. The SFX are alright too... (The whistle of the show's main theme has been added too!) some sounds can be a bit annoying, but after some minutes playing you will not notice them... (7/10)

Addictivness: If the Puzzles are your favorite videogame gender, You will play this game again for sure... If it's not... Well, better find another game. Becuase this game can be a bit challeging at some parts... (5/10)

Depth: There's not much to do in the game... It's only "go ahead to the exit". The things may change a bit at the boss battles, There you will have to Survive to the boss until the time ends, (Exepting for the 1st and the 2nd ones) So, the game becomes repetitive and you will leave it just because of boredness. (5/10)

Difficulty: As I said: Some stages are challenging... You will find Invencible enemies and some situations in where you will need to go back to get the propper item to continue the stage... Losing valious minutes of the game's time... You doesn't have health points, one hit will kill you. And for make the things worst: You will lose a life for every ed that gets hit... The extra lifes are very well hidden, also.

So, If you lack of patience... Then better forget this game. (8/10)

Final Rating: 8

This is the 1st  EEnE videogame ever... So, we can pardon some things of it... It's pretty decent and Fun... But it's hard and it becomes boring with the time. So, this game is precindible... Isn't a must have, But you should give it an oportunity... Who says, maybe you will find something interessing about it. Try it if you have chance. That's all I can say.
