For me my most unplayable character is Olimar, but of course I've only played Brawl. My most awesome character is without a doubt Bowser or ROB. I just think they have pretty good attacks and most of the  time it seem like my opponent can't touch me.

In Brawl, my least favorite is Ness. I prefer Lucas way more.

I heartily disagree with many of the above posts. First of all, Ganondorf is an amazing character if you know how to use him. His Dsmash, if the first hit connects in a powerful two smash combo. also, his Usmash is a great killing move. His speed is made up for by his side spec, Darkness choke, which combos into Dtilt or Dsmash. Also, his air game. my god, is it wonderful. his Uair is very useful for what it does, and his fair is great for edgeguarding and from a shorthop. his Dair is a very nice meteor smash and is good for getting the drop on your opponent. I actually like him better than C. Falcon. 

And what's all the hate for Olimar? he can regenerate his Pikmin very fast, and his Pikmin Throw is spammable as hell. He has great moves all around too. He is a great character is you get to know how to use him.
