It is a tossup between mario party 7 and 8 for me, 8 had tons of awesome minigames and cool boards which made it pretty fun.

I liked 7 because I remember playing it for hours on end and it was just a lot of fun and I reallt enjoyed it. But I think I liked 8 a tad more because it had a lot more minigames that 7 lacked.

Good question, I think I am going to give my vote to mario party 8, its just awesome and I have yet to play 9, but so far 8 is my favorite, and I have played all of them with the exception of 9.

Mario party 3 was the best. Close second being 2, because of the bowser costumes.

It was basically nothing but an upgraded version of the original and the second one. + I'm glad I can play as Waluigi sometimes, instead of ALWAYS being DK.

I haven't really played very many Mario Party games. I guess that Mario Party DS is nice, with the storyline and the whole shrinking thing. The others all sound fun, I don't know what I'm missing out on.

My favourite Mario Party game would probably be Mario Party 6. It was the first Mario Party game that I'd ever played and I still love playing it today. I love all of the Mario Party games (I physically own all of them except the GBA one, which isn't a must), but if I had to pick just one, I'd go with 6.

I was torn apart between Mario Party 2 and Mario Party 3 but in overall, Mario Party 3 is my favorite one out of the whole series.

Mario Party 3 was much more faster and efficient during party mode as the characters moved faster during their turns to reduce the time consumption. There were also lots of items to choose including the special items like the game guy coin, barter box, bank card, and wacky watch which can turn the tides around in party mode. It was also the starting of carrying 3 items instead of 1 item as well. Plus there were also 70 mini games in total for this version from 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, 1 vs 3, battle, item, and 1 player games along with the duel mode. The maps made party mode much interesting with their happening spaces in their environments especially with the death row called Waluigi's Island. In overall, everything was at a fast pace rather than taking more time waiting.

I mean who wouldn't want to keep playing during your free time?

I've only played Mario Party for DS. I wasn't able to get as addicted to it as I normally do for traditional Mario games, so I thought it was okay, but not great. I like a normal Mario game instead of a bunch of minigames. 

Mario Party 8! Second place is Mario Party DS, as it was my first, and it was really fun! But Mario Party 8 was extraordinary ! I had a blast ^^! It was addicting, too .

Yep Mario Party 3 is fun but I just hope Nintendo does maybe a remake of 1-3 for either the 3DS or Wii U cause in my case, 9 and Island Tour just ended the traditional Mario Party that has kept going through 9 games. 

Mario Party 6 is my absolute favourite Mario Party game that I played. I loved most of the boards, and how a fair amount of them had new mechanics for their boards, and there was never a mini-game that I absolutely DREADED playing. Plus it had Boo and Koopa Kid, both of whom I just loved playing as. I sadly haven't had the chance to play Mario Party 1, 7 or 9 yet, though.

Well I have not played many Mario party games so my favorite would be the one for Ds Which is not a choice.

Mario Party! What a trip down memory lane; my sister and I used to play these games. The only ones we haven't played are the wii ones (i.e. Mario Party 8 & 9). I definitely have a soft spot for Mario Party 1, but ultimately i'm going with #2 because it got rid of the feverish 'rotate the joystick torture' games. Of course, its replacement of rapidly press A (or some button) isn't too much better, but at least my joysticks don't die! Mario Party 3 comes in a close second.

i will go with mario party 8 because the items party is tons of candy its awesome and funny!
