I am seriously considering the position of knight in the service of the bum bum bum-bum! GREAT AND HOLY CAUSE OF GETTING ANIME ENG DUBBED FASTER  (name needs work, I know this.) I currently have no action plans and no command structure to speak of but ill leave that to any planner/smart type who take the oath (also need an oath.) Seriously though, valid points can be made for both but lets hear your thoughts.

As long as the dub is decent, I would prefer to watch anime dubbed rather than subbed. I don't have anything against subbed, and I mostly watch subbed since I watch it a lot online, but I like to watch it in my own language. I loved the CartoonNetwork dubbed One Piece and I especially liked how they dubbed the opening theme too. And I'm not an anime/Japan elitist either, so no,I don't think that everything Japanese is infinitely superior to whatever America has. And as for why Hulu/ Netflix won't offer a choice of subbed or dubbed, do you really think it's worth their time to hire a huge dubbing team to dub all the anime they possess? Dubbing is not free, it costs money. And it would be unnecessarily expensive and pointless to buy the same episode twice, just to have both versions. It's not like they can just swipe an HD subbed version from some random company, and make people pay for it. That would be illegal. They have to dub it themselves or pay for it. Not only that, but they would be doing this for free since they are at a fixed rate for what they charge people. If you wanted subbed, then you can watch online. But why waste money subbing when they can just use the dubbed version. We will all understand it. And I doubt massive amounts of people will suddenly come flooding in to buy more Netflix when they realize that they are offering subs.
