Figuring it's safe to move on again, the group decides to continue down the path. There seems to be a slight decline, and the deeper and further down the cave the group goes, the colder it gets.

Pretty soon, the ground is covered in a thin layer of ice, and the group is treading carefully to avoid slipping. Mizore's Snorunt seems to be the only one enjoying the ice and cold. Snorunt is sliding around the ice like a clumsy skater.

Suddenly, Snorunt bumps into Casu's leg, causing him to lose his balance.

"Shirayuki, be careful!" Mizore shouts. But it was too late. Casu came crashing down into Mike, who slipped and tripped up Nitori. Pretty soon, the whole group was sliding down the icy tunnel, admittedly in much quicker fashion than walking.

The tunnel suddenly opened up into a huge room, the size of a baseball field and several stories high, the ceiling covered in icicles. Everybody eventually skidded to a halt and got up carefully, dusting snow off their clothes.

"Great job, Mizore. Way to control your Pokemon," Silver sneered. But no one was listening. They were all staring at the center of the room, where a large icy platform stood. On this platform was a gigantic Walrein.

Nitori pointed towards the platform. "Are you guys seeing what I'm seeing? That's probably the biggest Walrein I've ever seen."

Ah a Walrien.

*Checks Pokedex*

I wonder what it's doing here.

"Think this could be connected to what those people were talking about earlier?"

"It is a little odd to see such a powerful Pokemon in the wild..."

Next to the Walrein lies a chest.

Mizore notices the chest, she then replies "Hehe, I wonder what treasures that could be holding..."
With overwhelming greed, Mizore then went to take the chest.
In what appeared to be rage, the Walrein quickly turned at Mizore, who was very close to getting the chest, and let out a bit of a fearsome growl.
Mizore then jump back and asked the group "What shall be do about it?"

"We could battle it, of course!" Nitori threw a Pokeball and out came her Trapinch. "If all fight against it, we could definitely overpower it."

Well we should watch out Walriens ice type moves are very affective to Trapinch and Treeko.

Effective,* and yes they are. With a frosty breath, Walrein freezes Nitori solid. TJ and mike go to attempt to defrost her, while Casu, Mizore, and Silver must figure out how to get that chest.

Well, ice isn't that strong against Fire, but I don't know how well Cauldrew could hold out against it. We could have somebody be a decoy while the others loot the chest real quick.

Stealth is probably key here. Who is the fastest out of all of us?


Mike finally defrosts the rest of the ice surrounding Nitori. Hurray!

Ok so I think we should help Casu,Mizore and Sliver with that chest.

"Um, right!" Nitori said, still shivering. "Go Trapinch, use Bite!"

Walrein, looks with a faint smile at the Trapinch attempting to bite through his thick skin. Walrein is ready to whip up a powerful snowstorm, when he spots the Spheal key on my neck. The snow drops around him. The key has sparked an interest in him, that much is clear.

Mizore Casu having any luck on that chest?

"Tj! It's the Spheal key that Walrein likes! Go run around like a crazy maniac while waving it all over in the air!"

Crazy Maniac? I can do that!

*Tj hops on his Skarmory's back and starts flying around the room, screaming complete nonsense. The Walrein slides away from the chest and toward me.*

"Quick grab the chest!"

Mizore watches as Tj acts like a fool, and then, with the help of her Snorunt, Mizore successfully gets the chest from the Walrein.

Ok so we've got the chest now, how are we going to stop Walrien from chasing TJ?!

"Oi! Teej! We got the chest!"

"Come on, everybody, let's get out of here, quick."
