Davideo7 : I have a question about the future of vizzed I asked local mods about what the item store is for and they said it is for some kind of tournament so when will the tournament be ready?

First of all, I REALLY want to thank you for making a wonderful site like Vizzed (: I didn't think there was such a family friendly website that everyone could truly enjoy, FOR FREE. How do you manage to keep this site up?

thing1 : Not really, I've been using Davideo7 for as long as I've been using the internet. Actually I did use davideo77 about 15 years ago but I than started using davideo7 shortly after.

Now I do sometimes use davideo7 instead of Davideo7. On sites that I own or use a lot, I go by Davideo7 and sites that I'm more of an unknown on, I use davideo7. I don't think I've ever publicly anyone that so enjoy that fun fact from me to you (but you'll soon forget it I'm sure lol).

pacman1755 : If by "posting spree" you mean 25 posts, I've been getting them weekly for the past few months now.

123skeedoo : I'm wearing shorts, workout shorts. I almost never wear pants, even in the winter. When I leave the house during the winter (which isn't often), I wear pants but if it's anywhere above 30 degrees outside, than I'm wearing shorts. I'm pretty good at tolerating the cold and wearing pants makes me to warm and usually uncomfortable. I also never wear long sleeve shirts.

thing1 : I don't watch any of those sports except Football. My favorite NFL team is the Green Bay Packers.

earthwarrior : Than they fall off the page. Any notification that falls off the page gets deleted. I'll eventually come up with a solution to this.

FoolishPie : I'm very pleased with the progress of this site over the past 10 years. I would've never thought that that vizzed woudld become my full time job. I always envisioned it being a hobby that I invest a few hours into each week, not something that I'd invest 40+ hours into a week (but thankfully I make enough off of the ad money to justify working on the site full time).

I always though the site would become popular as an RPG Maker site but I'm far more excited about it becoming popular as a Retro Gaming site.

GameBoy1023 : The word vizzed is somewhat based off of my own name david. My very first site was actually called 'Viz Video Games' but after I realized there was already a company called 'Viz', I eventually renamed 'Viz' to 'Vizzed'. My very first message board, which was an ezboard, was called 'Viz Board'. My 2nd board, which was an acmlm board, was called 'Vizzed Board'.

Get-Your-Rom.com: This is another site I co-own. I didn't design this one but I'm the one who came up with the idea and I'm also the one who has added most of the content. JigSaw was the one who designed it and he currently manages it.
River of Life Church: This was a website I was originally creating for the church I attended years ago. Recently that church has closed down so now I'm not to sure what to do with that design but I might eventually use it in some way for my own site.

EvilAlu : According to my parents, 2. My Dad and uncle were big gamers (and still are gamers) so I grew up around gamers at a young age so I myself became a big gamer real young. While I don't remember playing games when I was 2, I do remember playing games when I was 3, that's when I started to get good at them.

pray75 : I can't remember the name of the book that I learned PHP with but it was a really good book. I learned the basics from that book and than I started to learn more advanced stuff progressively as I worked on my own stuff. I'm still learning though because there's always a lot to learn. Sometimes when I come up with an idea for a feature and I started working on that feature, I come to an obstacle which requires me to do some research and learn how to overcome that obstacle.

earthwarrior : An interesting idea but it could possibly be cheated.

It really depends on the user I guess. Demotions usually aren't up to me, they're usually up to the moderators. If you're a staff member and if you're friends with the staff members who have the power to demote you, than it's pretty hard to get demoted. If you're a staff and you slip up and you're not friends with anyone who has the power to demote you, your chances of getting demoted are pretty good, especially if those same users don't like you. So yeah, it's all a popularity contest and it's all about who you become friends with.

wasqe2435 : The accessories have a purpose beyond the battle arena but most of the other items are meant for a future battle arena. For the time being, they're mostly for fun.

The ad revenue helps pay for the very high server costs and they sometimes help fund the RGR Plugin. The donations though are usually what help fund the RGR Plugin development.

slimeface1212 : Without moderators, this site would be a war zone and probably would have had to close down a long time ago (well at least the forum part of it anyway).

patar4097 : Probably the chat room / netplay room. The site could survive without those 2 things but the site would probably suffer without the RGR and the community would be lost without the forum.

iN008 : Tom, myself and a few others have spent hours finding solutions but no luck. It's looking doubtful that we'll ever get GBA netplay. GB/GBC netplay has a better possibility but still doubtful.

Tails the Fox : It'll most likely be added to the next plugin release which I hope is sometime this summer.

thing1 : Probably around 50 games. That doesn't include Xbox arcade games, I have well over 100 Xbox arcade games. I almost never sell games, feel free to look at my achievement page to see all the games I've played, most of those games I own (maybe around 3 or 4 of them I rented).

Admrill Chestnut : I'd probably say the Sega Dreamcast. I'd love to get it added to the Retro Game Room but due to the size of the games and the power of the system, I doubt it'll ever get added.

Barathemos : Yeah I see them. Personally, I think they should be fighting for her to become a Local Moderator, not a Global because she has a better chance at becoming Local than Global (no one ever becomes a Global without currently being a Local).

I've never actually gone more than a few days without visiting the site, I always check up on the site daily, even if I don't post every day, I'm always checking up on it every day. The longest I've gone with little activity was probably a few weeks.

I've never actually shut down the website without a reason.

pray75 : I invested $1000s of my own money into the RGR Plugin a few years ago and that was at a time when the site was making little to no money. I also invested a lot of money into the Vizzed Flash Bash which is unfortunate because it wasn't enough to have it finished.

Singelli : My Dad getting back to having a relationship with God is a miracle to me. He use to be real close to God when I was younger but than he sorta backslid over the past many years (he didn't become really bad but he just didn't have any "fire"). Lately though he seems to be desiring God's word and has been on the right path and I pray that he continues to stay on the right path.

jaws123 : The site originated as a forum and than one day I started to add NES games to the site and called the section I created for the NES games 'NES Game Room'. A year later I created the 'Retro Game Room'. You can read the history of it on the 'About Us' page.

thing1 : Probably triple meat. I hate vegetables on my pizza but I love most meats on my pizza.

Hard to say, maybe Confetti Cake Ice Cream, Schwans sells it but it's expressive and probably very high in calories.

There's a little restaurant in a nearby town my my wife and I use to go to often before our kids were born called Marie's. It's not that expensive but it's more expensive than fast food.

I haven't hung out with any real life buddies in at least 5 years. Once you get married, and especially when you have kids, you don't really have much time to hang out with people.
