My favourite movie would have to be Back to the Future. I watched it when i was a wee baby (ok maybe not that young, but still very young) and i fell in love with it. It's probably why i'm so into science to this day.

My tastes for movie changed the other day when I watched The wedding singer with adam sandler.. in it. I have seen it many times but I don't guess I noticed how much I like it. It's a great movie and now I like it more than Liar Liar.. Romance For the win! :p

I really liked the movie Back to the Future, but my favorite movie would have to be V for Vendetta. It's a really awesome movie about a freedom fighter named V who is trying to overthrow the facist regime of a man named Adam Sutler. It also brings up some issues of today making you think about governments and when they become too powerful. If you haven't seen it, it's an awesome movie to watch.

I really like The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. It was my favorite as a kid. The Return to Oz movie was very disappointing though.

My favorite movie is a tie between "Little Nemo's Adventures in Slumberland" which was the first non-Disney animated movie I ever saw.  Honestly it didn't hold up that well over time and nostalgia is about the only thing keeping it in my mind, it is worth a watch if you get the chance though, it basically follows a child's adventures through his dreams in a way that makes you question how much of it is real.  The other movie that comes to mind is Sucker Punch largely because of the multiple levels the story works on while commenting on the frequent sexism used with female action heroes and the state of mental health institutes in America.

My favorite is The Lego Movie. It almost made me cry. It reminds me a lot of my childhood and the kid is like myself. My friend had some legos she put together based on the manual. Then I was breaking it down and build other stuff  but she didn't like it. Also I wanted to play with my brother building with lego but the biggest achievement was when he put wheels on a 8x6x1/3 ( that thin part used for base of buildings ).
Meanwhile I built a functional semi-auto pistol that shot minifig heads (other kinds of ammo got stuck or was not right size ).

This may be a shocker to a lot of people, but my favorite movie is Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Two teenagers from San Dimas, California, are on the verge of failing history in school unless they get an A+ on an oral report, or Ted's father will send Ted to a military academy in Alaska, which will break Bill and Ted's wannabe band, the "Wyld Stallyns." A civilization from the future give Bill and Ted a phone booth which they use to travel back in time to retrieve historical figures like Napoleon and Sigmund Freud to help them with their history report.

I have more than one favourite film as it is hard to balance them all. I'm more of a fan of classic horrors, adrenalin fuelled meat head action movies, comedies that are actually funny and many more. Here's a list:

1. The Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness - why? Because BOOMstick, Bruce Campbell, comedy/horror that surprisingly works.

2. John Carpenters The Thing - cult classic horror film directed by my favourite horror director, also I love the effects and it's way with horror and concept is quite clever.

3. Hot Fuzz / Shaun of the Dead - Simon Pegg is just funny and so is dark comedy. Violent, over the top, funny, clever and British.

4. Misery / The Shining -  clever little adaptations of Steven Kings classic novels, I prefer the movies over the books.

5. Pulp Fiction - Tarantino is great, his films are great but this has to be his best one. Clever, focuses on multiple characters, entertaining to listen to all the talking and don't forget the always angry shouting Samuel L. Jackson.

6. Watership Down - this used to come on early on BBC 1 despite it being a little bit bloody. Watched it, loved it. A gritty dark story about rabbits trying to kill each other, it deserves more than what it got and what it got was angry mothers that can't get a grip.

There are more but I'm afraid I can't list them all as there's just too many so I noted down the obvious ones in my head, consider these the "top 6".

"Oldboy" Is my favorite movie ever, It's a revenge story done right, just enough action and violent scenes to make you realize that revenge turns ordinary people into ruthless monsters. And the bond you get with the main character really makes the ending all the more heart-wrenching.  "A Clockwork Orange" Is a very close second, It has a really gripping storyline The main character is extremely charismatic and really makes the movie enjoyable, even during the slow parts after you get past the intensity of the opening sequences.
